As a skinhead myself, I'll tell you.
Being a skinhead, regardless of politics (and boneheads aren't skinheads) has always been about working class pride, simply put. This however is different depending on who you ask. Some dickheads will say how they're proud of making shit wages or having an industrial job or some bullshit. They're fucking idiots.
Most will just say it's about being proud of your roots in being a worker. Red Skins (like me :P ) will say it's about being proud of your roots, but also fighting for your class.
The style and dress are representations of "working class" but most only do it because they like the way it looks. The style has been updated a lot, and most skinheads rarely wear braces. The dress is mostly used for indentification among other skinheads.
It's not just Boneheads and SHARPs. Not every skinhead thinks of themself as a SHARP, so don't get that confused.
All I know is that SHARP stands for Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice.
