Search the web for "Online German I course." That should help.
Websites:
wetter.de
antifa.de
Anything ending in .de that has an English translation will help also.
BASICS: (THIS IS AN OVERLY SIMPLIFIED BASIC OVERVIEW. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE SUBJECT VS OBJECT GRAMMAR AND ONLY INCLUDES THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THE VERY BEGINNING OF A GERMAN I COURSE.)
Greetings:
Guten Morgen = good morning
Guten Tag = good day
Guten Abend = good evening/afternoon
Gute Nacht = good night
Ich heisse ..../ Mein Name ist... = My name is...
Wie heisst du? / Was ist deine Name? = What's your name?
Wie geht es? = How are you?
Bitte = Please/ You're welcome
Danke = Thanks
Danke sehr/ Danke schon = Thank you very much.
Grammar note: All nouns (NOT pronouns) are capitalized in German.
Nouns:
Many, many, many. They can be MASCULINE, FEMININE, or NEUTER.
"the" for a masculine noun = der
"the" for a feminine noun = die
"the" for a neuter noun = das
Pronouns:
I = ich
you (single, informal) = du
he = er
she = sie
it = es
we = wir
you (plural, informal) = ihr
they = sie
you (singular OR plural, formal) = Sie
Verbs:
SEIN is the most important verb. It means "to be."
Conjugation:
ich: BIN
du: BIST
er, sie, es, any other singular subject that you are talking ABOUT, not TO: IST
wir: SIND
ihr: SEID
sie, any other plural subject that you are talking ABOUT, not TO: SIND
Sie: SIND
HABEN means "to have."
Conjugation:
ich: HABE
du: HAST
er, sie, es, other singular subjects you are talking about: HAT
wir: HABEN
ihr: HABT
sie, other plural subjects you are talking about: HABEN
Sie: HABEN
MOST other verbs will have an -EN on the end.
To conjugate these, take off the -EN and add other endings as follows:
ich: -E
du: -ST
er, sie, es: -T
wir: -EN
ihr: -T
sie, Sie: -EN
We call these regular verbs EST/TEN/TEN verbs because of the endings above.
Example: LERNEN - to learn
ich lerne = I learn.
du lernst = You learn.
er lernt = He learns.
sie lernt = She learns.
es lernt = It learns.
wir lernen = We learn.
ihr lernt = You (y'all, you guys) learn.
sie lernen = they learn.
Sie lernen = You learn.
NOTE: In German there are no -ing conjugations or helping verbs. Instead of -ing words, you take out the helping verb, such as "is", and just use the regular verb.
Example:
He learns = Er lernt.
He is learning = Er lernt.
He does learn = Er lernt.
Gern - Put this after a verb/at the end of a sentence to show that the subject LIKES to do whatever the verb is.
Example sentences:
Das Meerschweinchen ist schwarz und weiss.
The guinea pig is black and white.
Ich fliege gern viel.
I like to fly a lot.

Thank you.
