Look:

As soon as anyone from the BNP / NF etc is democratically electected, by the vote of the people, the left wing press go apeshit and print names/addresses/phone numbers of those people who have been elected.

A while back, some rang printed the personal address of someone who did voluntary work for the NF, leading to broken windows - presumably the data was collated in breach of the Data Protection Act.

If you read the terms and conditions at the entrance to any english Redwatch site (which you explicitly agree to when you enter), it states that information contained has been collated using public sources (usually Google).

As the site is in the US, it operates under the First Amendment, free speech, something I think you lot don't like.

IMHO, Dreamhost have taken the correct stance against the actions of a few subversives.

Its an Australian case, but boys and girls, we are talking case law here.

That means the heuristics of the case apply in the UK too, regarding jurastiction.

It means you can sue a US company in the UK (and there are relevant treaties meaning the judge just orders them to pay and buzz buzz the money flows thru the wire to the UK. One bankerupt american, and no, the First ammendment doesnt apply in the UK).

Get a legal attack dog, or a suitably clever law student to write up a threat with teeth, present it to em with the note "Read it and weep".

I am sure in a few months another similar site will be put up even if redwatch is taken down. As Searchlight and co started indentifying peoples addresses anyway I for one am glad some of their members have got some payback.
