I'm using the RefControl extension for firefox.
Just to add a note, if you send a copy of the email to me, you may add this line to your email:
I have sent a copy of this email to the_last_straw [at] safe-mail.net for legal reference.
I cannot access redwatch.org.uk. Chances are you were seeing a cached version of it from your hard drive.
Let's keep hammering them. I have sent a reminder email to dreamhost. Since they have recieved multiple emails I have decided it would be best to contact them using a variety of emails/methods.

Haha... *****es...
Good work Comrades! But I've noticed redwatch.info is still up. Keep up the good work!
If DreamHost don't do anything soon, I'll start adding Polish and US police addresses to the CC box.

Tworca is linked from redwatch.info. It also has lots of other links to fascist sites. Let's get to work
[Honestly folks, if you could refrain from directly linking to fascist sites, that would be great. Plus, the_last_straw, I deleted the post you wanted me to delete -- Armchair Socialism.]
Good point. Sorry about that, I'll keep an eye out in future
Other sites are stormfront, and Ireland Awake (this one is so bigotted it's unreal! Also links to several other sites)

Alright, I've been CCed like 4 more letters since we started this and dreamhost has still refused to take it down. Here is the response I got (stupid assholes)
We need emails of Polish, US, and British police to CC these emails to. I have replied telling them that further action will be taken and that I have a right to know why they have not removed the site.
The revolution lives
I sent this reply to them:
If they don't wise up really fast they are going to be in a world of hell.
The revolution lives
Indeed. I've contacted a few people. Dreamhost can expect dozens if not hundreds of complaint emails over the next few days.

Alright, I sent them another reminder email this morning. Again, if they don't wise up real fast they're going to pay.
If you are a customer at dreamhost please tell them that you will leave if they do not remove the site because it threatens your reputation.
I'm also really amazed that the other redwatch mirrors have stayed down so long. I'm going back and editing my original post so that new members can join in on the action easier and that all the information is accessible in one place.

Maybe this thread should be stickied for anti-fascist work??
Shit.
The .org.uk site for redwatch is still up.
Hmmm... It's down on my end but I do see an "alive" version using several proxies. Some ISPs "cache" content which means that they keep a backup. Looks like you are seeing the cache. It would help if people who can see it would respond with their country and ISP (AOL, COMCAST, etc.) so that we could determine who is seeing the site and why.

I sent a letter to siteground to see what was up:
The revolution lives
I've emailed 123-Reg to get them to disable the domain name. I've also gotten back to SiteGround and asked them to permanently delete the site or at least set appropriate permissions on the files.
By the way, I'm on Eircom Broadband in Ireland.

Thanks. We need to keep pounding dreamhost because they aren't playing nice. I'm going to have to go into any means necessary mode soon if nothing happens to redwatch.info. Should I make a default letter for the registrars?
The revolution lives
For anyone to send to them? Yeah sure. If we can't get at the hosts, domain registration sites will make a start.
And yes, let's keep pounding Dreamhost. I'm working on rounding up some more people involved.

Alright. I'll edit my first post once I've formulated the letter(s)

Is the traceroute in the letter a constant, i.e. do I have to change it when sending the email?
And also, is this website illegal in the Republic of Ireland?
I'm not so sure about Irish law. You might want to look into an ACLU-like organization for Ireland as they might know. You don't have to change the traceroute unless the host changes (in which case I will change the entire sample letter)
*Registrar sample letter for redwatch.info added*

I'll see what I can find out about website legality in Ireland, but on thinking about it, does the legality of a site where it's being viewed have any relevance? Shouldn't the fact that it's illegal in the host country be enough?
