Youth in the Kitchener-Waterloo region have reported to ARA Toronto that police were recently on the scene of what appeared to be a gang fight and / or swarming in the downtown core. In the early spring of 2006, witnesses near a park by the bus station reported seeing a group of approximately four neo-nazis walking down the street towards the park. Once they arrived, a large group of approximately twenty youths appeared from behind a monument and a transport truck and encircled the nazis. Two well-known boneheads, Kyle McKee (from Kitchener) and Tyler Gerard (from Oakville), were both present and got their respective lumps. McKee pulled out weapons (including a baton, pepper spray, and a knife) and began to quickly walk backwards into the street. Witnesses also said he put on a ski-mask (for reasons unknown). Gerard had his lip split open from a punch to the mouth, but bystanders reported that McKee received a far worse beating, which included being stomped and kneed in the face. McKee, who has a large swastika tattoo covering one of his hands, is easy to spot around the K-W area. Police were called by security guards at the bus station, when witnesses say busses were unable to pull out due to the brawl of nearly thirty people spilling into a main intersection. No arrests were reported.
A group of elderly Greek men contacted us about an incident they saw at Christie Pits during the summer of 2005, in west Toronto. Sitting on benches on the west side, they said they saw two young men who appeared to be neo-nazis walking throughout the Pits, passing by them numerous times. Later they were seen being chased around the entire perimeter of the park by a group of youths wearing t-shirts emblazoned with anti-fascist images and slogans. The neo-nazis attempted to hide behind the Greeks, and asked them to call the police (which they did not do). Through a later investigation by ARA Toronto, it was discovered that these two neo-nazis were then forced to surrender the laces from their boots and were told to never venture into the Christie Pits area ever again, before being sent on their way home. The anti-fascist youths warned them that this was their first and only chance to drop out, and that if they continued to be active, they'd still be "on the radar". The investigation also unveiled that the two were John Windross and Georgio Tolias. Windross is no longer involved in the far-right, and should not be a focus of anti-fascists. Tolias however, is still suspected of being active in organized racism. This information will be corrected as any new information becomes available on the status of these two.
According to statements online, and collected gossip from around the city, a memorial was held for Wolfgang Droege in the spring of 2005. Droege, the former leader of the Heritage Front, was shot to death by a former friend over a squabble which is connected to one of things: Droege's long-time addiction to crack cocaine, or to a nasty love triangle. Whatever the cause, his "friends" who weren't involved in his murder decided to hold a memorial service for him at a bar run by members of the eastern European community. Neo-nazi concerts have taken place at Waves before, and the owners were well aware of who those booking the memorial were. The guest-list included members of Kremator (a Toronto-based white power band), old school Heritage Front scumbags, current neo-nazi leader Paul Fromm, and also Marc Lemire (webmaster of the outdated "Freedomsite"). Lemire and a fellow large pile of human waste arrived in a sporty red car. Lemire posted a photo online of vandalism done to his car during the night of the memorial. The use of a sharp metal object to write such appropriate beauty deep through paint and metal is quite astonishing. Lemire then made a Wolfgang Droege memorial DVD to sell online as a money grab, stating that the proceeds would be used to fix his car.
