First and foremost let me say that I despise that woman with a passion, and I for one will not mourn her death for one instant, but I do feel your all being a bit harsh on EE.
He or she is simply stating that 'celebrating' the death of someone is vindictive, which it is (she may well deserve the vindictivness, and JESUS she does, but it is still not a very admirable quality).
Thatcherism is still alive and well and living in our country, still crapping on the working class, ruining the NHS, closing factories, breaking up the transport network, and still looking to privatise anything that moves.
No, but was that the real reason people celebrated on VE day? I don't think so, they celebrated because his regime had fallen, not just him.
If his generals had succeeded in bumping Hitler off in July 44, would that have been a reason to celebrate? I don't think so, because under 'intelligent' leadership the war was likely to go on a lot longer, with who knows how many more millions would be murdered by the Nazi regime.
As I said at the start, I will never have anything but contempt for her and all her kind, but I won't lower myself to 'pissing on her grave', because she isn't even worth that.
When the day comes that Thatcherism is dead, I'll be the first there, with a crate of beer and a box of Pringles, and party forever!!!

, and party forever!!!
