I just had a look at the London Class War site, and they;ve gone to the trouble of putting parts of the site in Welsh and Irish!

also, the stickers on the side are a nice addition, if my printer worked once in a while, I'd put them to good use <_<
I can post you some. [/b]
really?Wow,thanks, that would be very much appreciated, and pretty nice of you

Remember, it is not really the death of the individual on a personal level that we celebrate, we simply cannot know, it is the ideas that she stood for. Thatcherism was a plague of the latter 20th century in Britain, and as one of "Thatcher's children <_<" I would see this as no great shame.
Sorry, I'm trying to get through your garbled sentences. No offence intended.

If you are saying that it is a celebration of the death of the ideas that she represents then I'm sorry to say that I don't think they are dead. The way I see things is that there is a cosy little Thatcherite consensus in British Politics.

If you are saying that it's ok to celebrate her death because of the ideas that she represented then I would say that would be counter productive. Dancing on graves is not a very good way to sell class consciousness, or leftism in general, to the unconvinced.

I tick the indifference box but still frown upon those who tick the happy box.

It's an excuse to have a party in London. I personally hope she dies next year on my 18th birthday! What a birthday, followed by a party in London!
Any artists on this forum? I want paintings to commemorate the day, and if any of you do graffitti, we could find a Conservative club in somewhere like Kensington!
Me being a musician, I'll probably bring my band and play a guerilla gig. Maybe I'll write a song! Now the idea's mine. Nobody else can steal my idea!

I look forward to this event. Ever since I was about 11 years old nad beginning to understand politics (I am now 17) me and my dad said we'd go for a pint when she dies
So I'll be going out for a drink with my old man, and hopefully getting to this party in Trafalgar Square.

For those of us who live quite far from London, I seriously recommend using a Megabus to get there. I used it before from Manchester to London and back, it cost me £2 altogether. However, it might cost about £10-£20 if you book it for a near date (the longer you leave it, the more expensive it will be).

www.megabus.com

I will probably be on my own though, but I'm sure it will be quite a social occasion and I'll find somebody to talk to

Lets hope she dies this year or the next.
People think they have taken quite an extraordinarily bold step forward when they have rid themselves of belief in hereditary monarchy and swear by the democratic republic. In reality, however, the state is nothing but a machine for the oppression of one class by another, and indeed in the democratic republic no less than in the monarchy.

She was unwell a few months back, but recovered. But it'll happen, she hasn't been able to feast on the blood of the workers so much since she's been out of power, so she'll die off soon enough!

I probably won't go to Trafalgar Square, it seems silly to go all the way there when there are bound to be plenty of decent parties going on up north of the border!

Now, as you well know, our beloved (&#33 former PM is getting on in years. Now, being born in Yorkshire, my old man was only too eager to tell me of how she ruined British industry. I have heard rumours that my sister's boyfriend (also a comrade) has, with friends, had the idea of organising a party all along the A1 road. I said to him "what about the poor people in Lancashire and the Mining areas of South Wales and Scotland celebrate, what with the trains being extotionate mow they're owned by barons!"
Does anyone have a better idea of how to throw a party to celebrate? You all know how happy the people are to be rid of tyrants!
I dont want her to die yet! I hope she lives long enough to see the revolution so she can be finally punished for her crimes and be denied the state heroine funeral treatment she will no doubt get under the pro-beourgiouse government. Ive even worked out the method of her execution- Put her onto a plane full of mine workers, and when theyre over Buenos airies, chuck her out wearing a union-jack parachute so everyone below knows its her! Lynch mob time!

Maggie is better to die warm in her bed. Otherwise its a rope round the neck when the revolution comes, you heartless, evil *****. All those communities destroyed, good people's lives ripped apart, she should burn.

To be honest, I'm hoping she dies on a Sunday or a Saturday, as it gives longer time for people to organise transport etc. from around the country.
If she dies on a Thursday or Friday, it might be harder for people to get the time off or book transport to get there.

Death would be an improvement for that evil cow. The Midlands definitely will be havin a party. She closed most of the factories down and sent the county into financial meltdown. We wont be shedding a tear thats for sure.

And neither will we in North West England - she's hated here by the vast majority. We do have a few moronic Tories around here, especially in rural East Lancashire's Ribble Valley constituency (which the village I live in will be in the next General Election )

At the 1986 Tory general convention they crowed and celebrated over the political murder of three, unarmed IRA volunteers

Just like Bobby Sands said - "Our revenge will be the laughter of our children" - and so I chuckle at Maggie dieing a hopefully, long, painful, embarassing death

i'll be there in T.square! Maybe this is a tad evil but if she falls seriously ill before she dies I would quite like to stand outside her outside chanting encouraging words of death. she sucks, worst PM that I can think of, I hate her for everything she stands for and everything she did.

I remember something on Have I got news for you where one of the panelists said Thatcher's grave will be a public urinal for any decent human being!!! Me personally, I will be presenting her with an engraving knife! What should I engrave on her tombstone?
BTW there should be a party in Cardiff, because you see my old man isn't very well and I'm sure he'd like to celebrate!

A student guild union leader where i live in Birmingham caused outrage among conservatives when he put forward a motion "Ding Dong the Witch is dead" to celebrate the eventual death of the evil *****. He said we should have a parade through the streets and get "seriously pissed" which for students is a normal occurance!

'Andrew Mitchell, Sutton Coldfield's Conservative MP, agreed: "Many students will find this tasteless and juvenile and I would agree with that'

Only because Thatcher greatly reduced the amount of grants in order to halt left-wing presence in Academia due to fewer working-class students.

Don't take this the wrong way, but are Brummies daft enough to vote a Tory as equality councillor?

"Most people would agree that Margaret Thatcher is probably the greatest Prime Minister since Churchill. She did an enormous amount of good for Britain."
