The camp established by the Black GST Stolenwealth Games campaign (http://blackgst.revolt.org/about.html ) is under attack!

The camp is located @ Kings Domain Gardens, to the left of the King George sculpture (which can be found outside the main gates to the Myer Music Bowl, Melways 2F K9).

Camp Sovereignty has been issued with a 24-hour notice of eviction.

I attended the rally today which was a success, the camp is still standing. There is currently an injunction on the eviction, although i heard someone say the injunction was '30 days', there was also talk about actions tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week if need be. Basically, i don't think the exact status of the camp is as yet certain, so if people want to support the camp, please join the Black GST mailing list, which you can sign up for at the bottom of this page: http://blackgst.revolt.org/about.html

Say what? I said no such thing!

The 'official' Black GST campaign ended in march, but the Indig crew at the camp remained and started a new action, which now looks to have been snuffed out by the pollies and pigs.
