Saor Éire constitution:
1:To achieve an independedent revolutionary leadership for the working class and working farmers towards the overthrow in Ireland of British Imperialism and it's ally, Irish Capitalism.
2:To organise and consolidate the Republic of Ireland on the basus if the possession and administration by the workers and working farmers, of the land, instruments of production, distribution and exchange.
3: To restore and foster the Irish language, culture and games.
Interesting facts:
In July of 1931 Sean MacBride was arrested in Kerry in possession of Saor Éire documents. The first time the Gardaí had arrested anyone with Saor Éire documents/membership...
Eoin O Duffy(of Fascist Blueshirt fame <_< ) prepared an "extensive" Garda memo which was titled "Alliance between Irish Republicans and Communists" Peadar O' Donnell featured prominently.
The document was sent to Catholic Bishops in May,along with evidence of Anti-Clericalism from An Phoblact and The Knife.
The Saor Éire Congress was held in Dublin on the weekend of 26-27 Sep. 1931, among the observers were Roddy Connolly,and Nora Connolly O' Brien. There were 120 delegates, along with that the Irish Republican Army and Cumann na mBán were well represented.

"At the February 1929 IRA convention, O Donnell put forward a suggestion for the adoption of a socialist platform, devised by himself and David Fitzgerald, under the title of "Saor Éire".He was supported by the left,but was opposed by the majority"
