Urgent Montreal Demo

Hey this is to let people know that my friend and Comrade Amir is being deported back to Egypt this week and we are having a demo and public flyering on monday to support him.

During his stay as a political refugee in Montreal he has been active in the anti borders movement and a member of the Workers Solidarity Network and the Immigrant Workers Center.

Please come out and show your support to a dedicated revolutionary.

There are lots of signs that deportations are being serriously stepped up under Harper.

This weekend Immigration officials did a sweep through a mall in Toronto and yesterday a bus of immigrant workers going to a farm outside of montreal was stopped with at least on person detained.

These are new tactics and may mean a new level of repression from the conservative govt.
