An anecdotal recount by a black South African friend of mine made me recoil last night. He and some friends had happened upon a South African bar ironically named "Zulu's". Upon entry they quickly realized they were not at all welcome, the white Africaans crowd made this abundantly clear. They made a hasty u-turn, ten years or more after apartheid was crushed in their homeland here they were experiencing it in "multicultural" London.
Not surprising....once a racist, always a racist.
