No offense but if your friend really said that he doesn't know shit about football. Various Arab/Muslim countries will attend the world cup: Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia. Every country playing in the world cup has traveling fans going to each game in Germany.
In every game of football (except in the U.S) the fans of each teams and the neutrals are segregated. So obviously there will be a section of Arab/Muslim only fans for the countries mentioned above.
