Much easier - anyone coming from an EU country can travel in and out of UK freely.
You're fucked coming from outside the EU though, considering the anti-"immigrant" pressure in sections of society and the press.

I know a lot of comrades here are pissed off at the way aslyum seekers are treated but how many here have actually been directly victimised by the double standards imposed? My fiance is Fillipino, and had to return to home after her work permit was rejected 3 times, through no fault of her own - The excuse they gave her was they were unable to trace her work experience statement but in reality they made no effort to do so. As such, her application was rejected despite the fact she already had guaranteed work arranged. This cost her over £200 (approx US$400) just for the documents.
I am just wondering, how much easier would it have been for her to be accepted had she been Western European, American, Australian or Kiwi? I think this point underlines the racist nature of the UKs immigration control in that nationality has nothing to do with it- it is all down to ethnicity and what greater part of the world you are from. This is all down to the stigma of the wealth of your nation and the stereotype of the 'scrounging migrant'.
Id be interested to hear similar tales from people with similar problems.

You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror...
Well, thats just it - Its more a verbal engagement than anything else yet. We've not exchanged rings or anything owing to financial restrictions and I dont have any papers to prove that we are 'legally' engaged.
