No glorification of war-criminals
At Saturday the 4th of March AFA-Netherlands will organize a manifestation at the German military cemetery in Ysselsteyn (near Venray) in the province Limburg. On the same day neo-nazi’s want to hold a “hero-commemaration” on the cemetery. This so called “hero-commemaration” is organized by Blood & Honour, an international operating alliance of neo-nazi skinheads. After the commemaration there is a Blood & Honour concert in the surroundings of Antwerp (Flanders, Belgium). To Blood & Honour the commemaration must be a sign of respect, loyalty, and trust to the SS soldiers who are burried at the cemetery. With our speakers and our presence at our manifestation at the cemetery we want to make a clear statement. A statement against the glorification of national-socialism and war criminals. A Statement of disapproval of activities of organisations like Blood & Honour.
The history of the SS
The SS (SchutzStaffel) Was a paramilitary organisation which was brought to life by the NSDAP (National-Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiters Partei). The main jobs of the SS were intimidating the political opposition outside the party as well as inside the party and ofcourse the protection of Hitler. In order to gain acces into the structure of the SS one must be willing to follow every orde given, be in excellent physical state and be a national-socialist. In 1929 Heinrich Himmler was assigned as leader of the SS, under his command the SS must emerge as a gang of thugs. Only ariens were allowed to join the SS from then on to make the SS a thoroughbred gang of thugs. The SS grew and a diverse organisation with allot of specialized units who had jobs like guarding the concentrationcamps and function as elite-units on the battle front. After WWII the SS was convicted to be a criminal organisation at the Neurenberg tribunal because of the many war crimes commited by the SS.
Blood & Honour
Blood & Honour was founded in 1987 by Ian Stuart Donaldson, singer of the national-socialist band Skrewdriver. Skrewdriver was infamous because of songs like “white power”, “Race and nation”, and “White Warriors”. Blood & Honour was founded to recrute the youth through music to pass on the national socialist heritage. With a combination of music and politics Blood & Honour is one of the largest sources of money for the extreme right wing, through concerts and CD sales hundreds of thousands of euro’s are gained for the right wing extremist scene. Next to generating money Blood & Honour also function as a gang of thugs/officials in charge of order for political party’s during demonstrations and other activities. During the 19 years of their excistence they were involved in countless acts of violence against foreigners, homosexuals and political opponents. Several countries already forbade some Blood & Honour departements and there were raids at some Blood & Honour record labels.
Our manifestation on the 4th of march starts 13:30 at the German military cemetery in Ysselsteyn (Limburg), Timmermansstraatweg.
Do not accept open glorification of nation-socialism, let your voice be heared, don’t accept fascist organisations like Blood & Honour, come the 4th of march.

Are these waffen ss. If so then they are simply solders of a elite unit. nearly all waffen ss solders wernt war criminals, just like all millitry formathions thouth-out time.

Many people joined up with the SS to make a carreer for themselves, not all SS members fully agreed with the National Socialist political doctrines.

The ladder climbers, most likely would have gone into the regular army.
The SS was the hard core of the bad guys, the true believers in nazism.
And sure the waffen SS were mainly an front line combat group but that doesnt mean they did not commit atrocious war crimes because they most definitely did!!
3rd Waffen SS panzerdivision "Totenkopf": prior service in extermination camps was a prerequisite to join this unit.
In April 1941 , one of the companies of the Das Reich Division assisted an SS extermination squad in shooting 920 Jews near Minsk. The same division was involved in the killings at Orador-sur-Glane in France in 1944.
December 17, 1944, Waffen SS troops of the 1st panzer corps, herded a group of 90-120 Americans from the 285th Field Artillery Observation Battalion into a field near the Belgian town of Malmédy. The POWs were lined up, and then shot.
June 1944 in Normandy, 12.SS-Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend ("Hitler Youth") murdered over 100 disarmed Canadian soldiers.
Between September 29 and October 5, 1944, soldiers of 16.SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Reichsführer-SS, led by Sturmbannführer Walter Reder, killed 955 people in the territory of Marzabotto, Monzuno and Grizzana, in the largest civilian massacre perpetrated by Nazis in Western Europe.
Among the victims, 45 were less than 2 years old, 110 less than 10 years old, 95 less than 16 years old, 142 were more than 60 years old, 316 were females, 5 were priests.
Waffen SS also were apart of the 'Kaminski brigade' which brutally put down the civilian warsaw uprising.

346 disarmed waffen SS soldiers were murdered under the orders of LT. Jack Bushyhead, an American Indian.
The three standing were missed by the machine gunner. Note pile of dead next to them.
A few were turned over to the former camp prisoners for payback.
Bushyhead was never charged.

If I remember correctly you had to be a member of the SS if you wanted to go up.
Of course they commited horrible crimes, I fully agree with you on that.
Do note that the Hitler Jugend wasnt really a voluntary organisation, all boys had to join the Hitler Jugend were they to be part of German society. During their time in the Hitler Jugend they were exposed to indoctrination. A child is relatively easy to manipulate. Now Im not sayign that they didnt commit this crime, but in their indoctrinated little minds they didnt know that they did a wrong thing. They were so trained and indoctrinated into their system and ideology that they didnt know any better, good examples of this were children (Hitler Jugend) who kept on fighting while the older soldiers and people already surrendered. After the war these children had to be re-educated.
If I remember correctly Rommel joined the SS in order to become a general, eventhough he fought on the wrong side (eventhough it was against the British Imperialists) he was one of the more skilled generals in 20th century history. There is also a big debate on wether Rommel truly agreed with the Nazi doctrines, but that would be a different discussion.
You posted also that the Germans got desperate and let non-aryans join the ranks of the SS. I doubt that these non-aryans would have agreed with the idea that they would be slave races...personally I think many of these men sided with the Axis forces not because they agreed with their ideology but because they fought against the old European powers such as Britian and France.
Great irony that the US recruited many SS members and other Nazi warcriminals for their operations "against communism" in Eastern Europe and Latin America.
But yeah...the fascist march will be funny...probably a counter march of the communist and then a big ass fight in which the nazis prove that eventhough they proclaim to be the master race and be militaristic and whatever they they remain the wussies they are, begging for police escorts etc.

Yeah, many nazis andHitler Youth escaped prison/prosecution by joining the French Foreign Legion, quite a few were slaughtered by Communists at Dien Bien Phu in 1959.......ah the irony!
