what the people in the uk on this forum should do is meet up in london, but before that, we need to meet in small groups so as not to get caught by the filth (police). i am sure that they are watching us by the computer. the problem that faces peace and socialism is that we have been divided, hence the need for this forum.

I'd love to meet up with my fellow RevLeft members in the UK, if they ever wanted to. You might be being a bit paranoid in thinking that the UK and US governments are monitoring our every move through this forum, but then again, "even paranoids have enemies" :P

So, anyone in an organisational frame of mind?

I do meet up with people from revleft, and people from other boards, and people who don't have the internet.

It's called real life politics. And the police don't really care. Stop living in fantasy land.

i wouldnt put it past them! i am always in a subversive mood - im "your friendly neighbourhood subversive".
and of course i am paranoid - i was up until 6am watching battle royale. i interpreted it to have leftist - or at least anti-capitalist leanings.
send personal msgs to EVERYONE in the uk on this forum. tell them to quote this: a history of the world..." and make sure they continue the quote. this has to be as cloak-and-dagger as possible.

Yeah, I'm in a similar mindframe to silentprotest, tell me where and when and I'll try to get there. I'm currently living up in the north-east but hopefully by the end of summer I will be near london and more active in 'real life' politics.

Tell me about it drain.you, by Septemeber I'm going to be at Uni and suddenly become much more active in politics. I think we should set something up around that time, it'd be cool.

London you say? Where and when? If it is after September, then I will, most likely be at a University in that city.

There are lots of national meetings/events. Just go to those and let people know. I've met a fair few members of this forum, at gatherings. Are you even involved in politics outside of the internet??

And Anarchism/Communism and Socialism aren't considered Illegal or threats. The police have better things to do than follow you to a meeting.

Your sound like a paranoid child.

I might go to a UK meet up if there ever is one.

About battle royale being leftist, it's not, it may be anti-authoritarian. Leftism and anti-authoritarianism are not mutually inclusive.

Next ones in Manchester in a few weeks. There's one in London every month or so.

Going to small demonstrations regularly normally means you'll end up meeting people from Revleft. I've certainly met a few by going to little demos/meetings.

Organisations have national meetings. But good places for to go for a massive cross section of the radical left, are things like Anti-war demos/direct actions in london, or 'Dissent' related stuff.

The anarchist bookfair is also pretty awesome.

If I was to meet up with people from this forum I wouldn't be surprised to see about fifty 14 year old teens with Che t-shirts on but...hey you gotta start somewhere.

I've only met one person from this forum and that was by accident at the G8 summit, lol.

Hopefully I'll meet a few people from this forum because there in the same organisation as me. The only reason why I havn't met anybody else on this forum from the same organisation as me is becase I'm so ridiculusly fucking poor and cannot afford train tickets......isn't capitalism propa bo!. <_<

Who is going to the march 18 demo in london? I'll be going with my uni's group and friends but i'd meet up with people from revleft if they don't have an affinity group and want people to hang out with.
