Rally Against Captain Cook Cruises
Event date: 07 February 2006
Location: No. 6 Circular Quay
Time: 12 noon

Union delegate Maz Al Helo has been unjustly sacked by Captain Cook Cruises. Maz's sacking is another attack on union organisation in this workplace where the employer thrives on harassment and intimidation of the workforce.
Captain Cook Cruises stands over its workforce to ensure that they remain unorganised and that wages and conditions of employment are kept to an absolute minimum.
Help the workers at Captain Cook reject this treatment.

RALLY:
Time: 12 noon
Place: No.6 Circular Quay
Date: Tuesday February 7th

Captain Cook Cruises is an example of the future of Australian Industrial Relations if the Howard Government gets its way with its WorkChoices legislation.
The MUA urges every member to ensure that they come down and let Captain Cook Cruises know that we will stand up to employers who rely on intimidation and harassment as their weapon to maintain control of their workforce. Let's show Captain Cook we mean business. Let's show all employers we won't cop this shabby treatment of MUA members.
SEE YOU THERE!
CONDITIONS ON THE ENDEAVOUR WERE BETTER THAN THIS!!!
