Yo I've been trying to get in touch with you for a while to find out how this has been going?

The website doesn't seem to work.

EDIT ADD: "The workers don't need the bosses. They need us" is a horribly pretentious line you may think about changing...

We have yet to set up the website, but are planning to in the next few days. Please check back.

Hey Nachie, haven't heard from ya in a while. Everything's been off to a pretty good start so far. We're an argumentative group, and it's taken 2 months just to pull that little flyer we have together! Lots of enthusiasm and energy seems to be abounding. It's really quite inspiring to have all this come together on its own, seemingly.

As my comrade mentioned, the website is "in the works", but the e-mail address there is active.

You seem to have a knack for written prose; if you have any other suggestions for "wording"(as its something we've had a hard time with), feel free to contribute as much as you'd like. Like I said, our e-mail address is active, or you can stay in touch with me via e-mail.

Hey man good to see you're still around and kickin'

I was talking to a RASH comrade from Maryland about you guys, he said he drove up for your meetings sometimes. He was also in the SP Direct Action Tendency but then he stopped PM'ing me so I was left in the dark. As usual I'm very wary of all groups who include Leninists, but he said that the mood in the RMC was overwhelmingly anti-vanguardist and so the Lennies were being kept in check. Still not a sustainable relationship in my opinion, but I was really interested in seeing where it went!

I'm gonna be out of the country for a couple months and am unsure as to how much Internet access I'll be getting, but feel free to PM me or drop a line to communist (at) graffiti (dot) net. I'll kick over a little message of solidarity to the RMC e-mail later today, if that's the best way to stay in touch. When I'm back in the US I might look into stopping in Philly to visit you all.

I just realized what you were trying to say with the that line in the flyer. May I suggest changing it to, "We Don't Need the Bosses, the Bosses Need Us!" otherwise it's unclear because I thought you were saying "the workers don't need the bosses, the workers need the RMC". haha

The line is "We the workers don't need the bosses. They need us." So it is grammatically sound, as the antecedent of the second independent clause is the bosses. My girlfriend is a very big grammar geek. :P

Yeah, it's a shame Chris couldn't stay with us. He seemed like a very good guy, and I was looking forward to working with him. And it's funny -- we haven't heard from any Lennies (I really like that term, thanks&#33 on our listserv for over a week now. I'm waiting to see how it plays out, since we're making an effort to work with them and not be factional.

Did I just completely miss "We the" in that line? I do apologize. It does indeed make sense.

Oh, the Lennies. Maybe it is really for the best that they're being silent...

Our experience has been that any loosely/idealistically defined alliance with them will never stand up to the needs of praxis. Much less will any alliance between black & red survive the intrusion of statism. In fact in the beginning RAAN was a collective discussion involving several Lennies/Trots/Maoies, but they were just weeded out over time as contradictions arose between their positions and the need to actually get something done. Either way, don't think of it as being factional because that would imply that they are in some way related to us ideologically or practically. Leninism has nothing to do with communism, so there's no reason to feel bad about not inviting them to the festivities.

I am not opposed to "outreach" aimed specifically at Leninists, discussing the myths of 1917, etc. but I also should not be expected to have to tolerate their organized formations.

We bought the domain last night, and a rough website is up now.

    Good initiative

Who organised this? Was it people from different groups, or just a group of friends or students or what?

Ah! We should add a "History" section to the site. Thanks to TAT for inquiring.

It was myself and a comrade of mine. We were both in Philly RASH(Red&Anarchist SkinHeads) for a short while, and became disillusioned with the group. There was alot of secrecy, elitism and seniority within the crew, so we left after the S24 anti-war demonstrations in DC. We wanted to form a new group, so we drew up a small flyer and distributed it on the internet, calling Philadelphia-area Marxists and revolutionaries to organize. People got in touch with us via e-mail, we had a meeting, and from there it just snowballed.

Still, given the context of the sentence, it's rather ambiguous. I'd change it if I were you.
"Revolutions are the locomotives of history."
<Armchair> so, i just figured out, the phone doesn't fit any of the holes in the back of the computer
