What a huge waste of money.

Yep, the TOTALITARIAN STATE OF AMERICA is at it again.
Burn the Bush!
The Republicans are so anti-tax, you think they'd be watching what their tax dollars are being spent on more closely. I guess people with golf-ball sized brains have trouble processing what is a waste of money and what isn't.

Good. Any decienctly run country would of been doing its best to rid the population of people like this. Simply put: Fucking stoners.
All I ever wanted. All I ever needed, is here in my arms. Words are very, unecessary, because they can only do harm.
HS.... let people do what tehy want with their bodies as long as they don't try to enforce it on anyone else or brign anyone else to harm.
I was caught with 9 grams of weed and a hash pipe.
When I was going I asked if I could keep the pipe, and they gave it too me. There are so many reason to be happy not to live in that country. I can smile.

Not everyone who smokes marijuana is a loser. I personally don't do it [although I have in the past], because I decided I'm going to need all my brain cells in the future. Some of the great art [Literature, music, paintings, etc.] in the world has been created when those responsible for their creation were "under the influence" of whatever. Some people just do it to relax just the same as someone who comes home from work has a beer, a glass of wine, or smokes a few cigarettes. It's not any worse than any of those. Sure some drugs a really bad and can really screw up a person, but perhaps instead of jailing them for using those drugs, we should find out why they have to resort to that kind of thing. Obviously their is a cause, and I believe the government could handle it in alternative ways.

I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic, if not any decently run messageboard ought to get rid of people like you. Simply put: closed minded puritan fuckheads who are obsessed with what other people do with their own bodies.

Dissing the puritans is actually quite closed minded because almost all the information we know about them is imperialist propoganda.

What the fuck are you talking about? Use neo-puritan if you will, you know what I meant and it has nothing to do with any historical religious movements, it is a description of a certain "father knows best" mentality...

Hey, but the worst part of this was that CHONG WAS ARRESTED!!!

Yes, they raided his pipe factory. And then his house, nothing was found in his house though. And he was put out on bail...
I cant find a hardcopy report on this, cause i heard it on the radio.

What I don't get is why they assume that every pipe and bong is going to be used for illegal purposes and not just tobacco.
Do you think they're not going to be used for illegal purposes? I'm sure 95% of them will (more even). But I don't think that's what you were getting at (?).
I don't see how they have a legal right to confiscate any such instrument. Even if it is used and the inside is caked with resin, surely they can only take the resin? Life shouldn't be like this.

I fully agree with you Che, actualy I quit smoking marijuana when I started failing in my university exams.
And I am also positively sure the gov can definitely find other ways to manage it.
I said it because on the site with Chong's arrest on it, the people for chong glass said the stuff was used for tobacco which of course is just said to cover their ass. But the point is first, they should not be taking it away and the second is that they are taking it away on the assumption that they would use it for weed.
