Racist from Keithleigh

Last night, before going to a sixth form party for christmas, i decided to sit in my town's park with my girlfriend. No more than 10 minutes later two 14/15 year old boys came up rolling a spliff, originally they were abusive little wankers (my town has a problem with ridiculous chavs vs grunger fights and i guess i look like a grunger) but after they'd calmed down we got onto the topic of race after one of these kids told me they were from Keithleigh (sp?) which i believe is where the BNP have a strong support?

Anyway he was clearly a mis-educated youth indoctrinated by the idiocy of racism, i really cant believe that he truly believed what he was spouting but i guess he's another victim to it. He was talking of how gangs up there are forming to "re-nationalize" black and asian areas in certain parts.

Any Briton will have dark memories of the Bradford/Burnley race riots and amongst recent problems world wide am i alone in fearing the return of this evil here?

There is a lot of ignorance in the world about different cultures and races, and it does seem that this is on the increase. I am part Jewish, and although i do not believe in judaism, or any religeon, my mums family in Canada are all Jewish. Although i despise all racism, in particular i worry about the disgraces of the 'white supremecists' in the USA, who aim to remove all Jews, blacks, hispanics, etc. They seem to be on the increase as more and more, undoubtedly ignorant people join their ranks in an attempt to 'cleanse' their country - do they forget that the USA itself is a hybrid of different cultures, and that unless they are Native American, they do not originate there either? I am also at sixth form, and even there there is a lot of racism, particularly against a family from Hong Kong who moved here recently, and whos children are in my year.
From what i have seen i would say i share your fear that we are facing a dark future for race relations.

It appears to me, that although they spout this disgusting filth, the majority of youth do not truly believe it, they've been indoctrinated into it, lets be fair here though and say it's not all one way, i'm perfectly aware of the problems Keithleigh has had with Asian gangs turning young teenage girls into prostitutescreating a racial hatred but these kids are simply following the feeling of the community in an attempt to fit in.

The trouble is, the government here provides so much financial aid to immigrants but refuses to create proper jobs for them and activities for the youth, they come to this country and have money thrown at them but miss out on the most important part, getting a job. So what do they do with their days? crime is bred in these areas because of the unemployment.

You should have kicked their asses and stole their pot. Sucks to hear that, though there's no doubt that anywhere you go, such people will exist.
