I dont know what the image Marx has in the U.S.A but in the U.K i get the impression he's sort of pushed aside, they try to ignore him in case anyone reads what he wrote.
I don't agree with that. I live in the UK and in sociology we look at Marxist perspectives on the majority of issues raised. Also I am aware that philosophy classes look at Marx's works.
I don't think I've ever been mistaken for a nazi. People in my politics and sociology classes just think I'm weird but then again, they probably did even before discovering I'm a commie.
