Humanity has entered it's darkest age, we are now in our most despicable of states, our most destructive, yet our most powerful phase. Since the beginning of time, man has considered himself the superior species, even god takes a human form due to our inherent and sickening self-obsession.
This ignorance is exactly the same as racism between humans, yet it is seen as acceptable in a society corrupted. Belief in a superior species, belief in a superior race. One must rule over the other.
Man was not the first species on earth, neither was he the first dominant species, before us there were thousands, none of whom took it upon themselves to destroy the planet quite as we have, a superior species should not rape and pillage the lands bestowed to them.
Man has four primal urges, human nature as it may be described, these are to; eat, drink, sleep and mate. Seeking shelter from the elements may also be considered human nature, and so these five urges as they were are the only things necessary to our survival, and yet the urges which society has given us have become more paramount to us, and it is these urges that are destroying our credibility as the Superior race.
What creates these new urges is mans desire to define what he cannot comprehend, there is no existence unless man can define it. Nothing can simply be man takes it upon himself as the self elected dominant species to define it. Most destructive of these definitions we have given, is love. Love is an evil, yet manufactured emotion man has defined and impregnated into generation after generation of himself. Man must judge things into one of two different groups, Love or Hate, Good or Evil these opposites are evident time and time again within humanity seeing as we are unable to comprehend what simply is. So we love the things that give us pleasure and hate those which bring us suffering in some form, those that bring suffering in a large form with no obvious outcome for the better is defined as evil, those that in some way bring happiness or such are considered good. Man attempts to seem intellectual by stating that one causes the other to exist but has never truly come to comprehend exactly what is meant by this.
Man has attempted to comprehend the creation of the universe and as a result has connected it to God, Gods reason for creating it however, are yet unknown to us. The perfection which we see before us, is to some a result of god's perfection. Yet they will pervert this perfection with their own definitions, as if by some divine inspiration. God's perfection has also been perverted by man's take on religion, in every major religion human beings are in some way the superior species, and god in some way takes on a human form. This logic is not merely despicable but also flawed, if god intended us to be the superior species, why were we not the first species created? It is a proven fact that many species existed and reached the full stage of their evolution long before us and so why are we, the late arriver's here as the stewards? Perhaps god realized that the earth needed a steward of sorts, after he created it. Is this not questioning god's perfection? Saying god could not foresee the need?
So is it simple parts of religions that require change? Or is it the fundamental base that needs to be removed? Man's ignorance goes far deeper than a few minor flaws in his social influence. God has become something of religion rather than a spiritual bond. God is now separated into many religions, in some cases not even believed. Many atheists have turned away simply because the perverted ethics of modern religion can not connect them to god anymore. God is now seen as something which must exist in separability to us instead of something which exists in every single particle that makes up everything we perceive here. Even if the big bang created the universe, it was these particles, charged with a connection deeper than we can comprehend, that created the big bang. There is no superior being watching over us changing things as he believes fit because the world is flawless at all times. We may not consider it flawless, yet that is because we do not understand it.
Yet we have been given free will, why? Because god wished us to be free? Then why must we still accept the rules religions say are his? Free will is something we have long wished to understand, why would god give us this power only to strip it from us on judgment day? Why would we be given it if everything is already flawless? Why would we be allowed to tamper with perfection?
Again, the problem lies in man's desire to define. Free will, gives the impression that we are free to make decisions, when infact we are free to change the path we take down the course that is already set up for us. Not set up by some being with magical powers, set up by how things are. Many will define this set course as a beginning and an end, for that is all we can comprehend. The big bang is seen as a beginning instead of perhaps a continuation.
Man considers himself the superior species, because he has done what no other before him had. He has defined God, he has created civilization, he has found answers to the problems he created.
Why are these considered superior achievements? How does either benefit existence as a whole instead of existence of themselves? We have achieved things which benefit ourselves, but never once something that has benefited everything. Our benefits are usually at the cost of others.
What fuels this universal desire man feels to create this superiority is love, a defiled definition given to an emotion which need not exist. Love is the birth giver to greed. Man naturally loves what brings him pleasure. Man also naturally wants more of that thing that brings him pleasure as it is not eternal. In human terms, envisage money, money brings a short term happiness to people. Naturally people would want more of this and so they take it whenever the opportunity presents itself. Even if this should result in somebody else losing money. Love can also be defined as that in a person. Man is obsessed with having someone to love. Yet this form of love can also give birth to greed. We will also naturally want a deeper connection and a longer lasting connection with the person we love and are never quite satisfied. We will also protect those we love, even if it results in someone else's pain.
Death and the afterlife is a key part of many religions, although humans can comprehend a beginning and an end to a universe, they cannot comprehend the end to themselves. Our bodies and our minds will in essence end, this is inevitable and indeed as a being we will one day cease to exist collectively, however the connection everything holds will remain, the energy as it were we hold will rejoin that that it stemmed from and eventually create new life. For life is the existence we have as a being, death is a continuation of life that we lead as something other than a being.
For instance, the big bang was a collection of energy charged by a connection, once this connection has reached it's full extent it will collapse causing another explosion which will in essence re-charge the energy creating life once more.
Man is obsessed with finding answers to questions. Unwilling to accept that some questions do not have answers. Another flaw in our defining nature. We define a question as something that has an answer. Some things are exceptions to this rule, un-intended by man. For instance why are we here? A question many man has pondered. His answer to this question is religion, god and an afterlife. This existence in essence is considered a preparatory stage. For some who believe in God, we are here to be judged, God will eventually decide who he deems fit to allow into his paradise. Why? Should God in his omniscience not already know who is good and who is evil? And why would a being create us merely to judge us?
Man refuses to accept that we exist merely because we do. There is no purpose. There is no judgment, we merely exist to exist. How we exist is our choice, but we do not have the overall power to in someway change the overall options, we can only change the ways in which we eventually reach those overall options.
When we travel, the map shows us the eventual destination, however it also provides us many options on how to get there, the choice on how to get there is ours, but the eventual destination will more than likely stay the same, certainly the map cannot change this and we are unlikely to because we already chose the destination. This is how our existence is, we have an eventual destination, which is the destruction and re-creation of life, however our path to get there is our choice.
So we have a small amount of choice within this universe, however for the main part it is already how it is, and even our choice is influenced by how it already is. If however, things are already how they are, why is a change needed? Although many of our definitions are incorrect, Suffering and Pleasure are two which we seem to have grasped correctly. Although neither are eternal, we can make our path to the destination more pleasurable, or indeed the opposite.
But how? How do we make it more pleasurable? First we must discover what causes it to be unpleasurable that we may live without it. Greed causes immense suffering, it is neither needed nor wanted by those striving for a better existence. In order to provide a better existence for all, human or otherwise, we must remove greed, it is not human nature to always want more. It is an evil which society has impregnated us with, like the Buddha who revoked greed we must discover exactly what greed is and what causes it in order to remove it. We know that love causes greed, a desire for more of the object you love. Yet Love is the same as greed, a human definition that is inherently flawed, it is not that to remove greed we must remove love, it is that to remove greed we need to accept things how they are rather than love or hate them for it. In essence tolerance.
Water can never be heated higher than that heating it, a car can never weigh more than it's component parts sum total. This is determinism, belief that everything has a cause. Using this logic it is impossible for the universe to have had a beginning because the creation had a cause, which had a cause etc. So the likely conclusion is that it is a cycle, one that has always existed and always will. Is this cycle then immune to determinism? Did it too have a cause?
Certain things man will never comprehend, it is perhaps foolish to try however where do we decide what we will not comprehend and what we may in time? We must decide what is necessary to pursue and what is not, from this we can then start to advance. For instance it is immediately necessary for us to attempt to comprehend what causes diseases so we may someday cure them, however knowing how we came to be is not as vital and so do we waste resources questioning this? Question things in order to the vital need at any given time.
This is a worldwide system, a more pleasurable path cannot be achieved by any one group of people or indeed any one country, it must encompass all. In the next section we shall investigate how we can implement this system into government so that it can influence a larger majority of people.
