"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"

Verily poor as we are in democracy, how can we give of it to the world? A democracy conceived in the military servitude of the masses, in their economic enslavement, and nurtured in their tears and blood, is not democracy at all

I missed that. Very strange, Anarchism has more in common with Communism than Socialism. Most Anarchist Organisations are Anarcho-Communist, well Anarchism pretty much is Communism.

Yeah I was wondering about that statement myself.
"Getting a job, finding a mate, having a place to live, finding a creative outlet. Life is a war of attrition. You have to stay active on all fronts. It's one thing after another. I've tried to control a chaotic universe. And it's a losing battle. But I can't let go. I've tried, but I can't." - Harvey Pekar

Sorry for writing in all caps. As for the communist thing, anarchists and communists are fighting against the same thing, capitalism, but they differ on how to achieve their objectives. Leninist-Communism advocates a dictorship of the masses, and anarchism is about no government. The same struggle different paths. I'm down with communism, but not Communism, if you know what I mean. Sorry, I didn't mean to diss any political ideology.

Anarchist-Communism or Libertarian Communism is barely different to Anarchism.

Authoritarian-Communism is barely different from Socialism. Communism is certainly closer than Socialism to Anarchism.

Anyway, this isn't a forum for mass discussion/debate, it's about action. Can anyone help out? I'd love to, do the books need to be in good condition? or can there be room for minor damage? (like roughed edges) Im thinking about transport.

You should also contact the Anarchist Federation, we will probably be more than willing to supply you with our magazine.

I could send tons of things, in .pdfs too.. but they're all "communist" so I guess they have no place.

Wouldn't want to offer alternatives to the alternative

The FPM helped open up an Info-Shop in Hartford and the Green Party even took part. It works out best when you make it a center for activists, not just one political group. More info on your plans and if you plan on going somewhere, communist stuff will end up finding a place.

Books don't have to be perfect or anything, If you're really interested in helping email at the address in my 1st message.
