What kind of Marxists? do you support the former Soviet republics? China?
"How you cling to your purity, young man! How afraid you are to soil your hands! All right, stay pure! What good will it do? Why did you join us? Purity is an idea for a yogi or a monk. You intellectuals and Bourgeois anarchists use it as a pretext for doing nothing. To do nothing, to remain motionless, arms at your sides, wearing kids gloves. Well, I have dirty hands. Right up to the elbows. I've plunged them in the filth and blood. But what do you hope? Do you think you'll govern innocently?"-Jean-Paul Sartre
We have varied opinions on the issue of MLM-ism. Discussion has been constant and in some cases, very heated on the issue. What we commonly agree on is anti-party, anti-"electoral" stances. We do not want to be become a faction of some bourgeois "communist" party. We detest the concept of personality cults. We have some ideas of what anarchists refer to as "libertarian Marxism".
Because we commonly agree on an anti-party stance, we agree that there is no one "party line" that we all "have to" agree on(issues like historical correctness and "who was right" fall into this category). Each individual member may express his or her views on whatever theory, concept or strategem he/she wishes without any form of reprisal. Our experience with past groups (Philly RASH) has shown us that seniority and elitism are very damaging to the group's morale and level of activeness. We want to keep these kinds of counteractive elements out of our group.
In addition, one thing that probably separates us from political and reformist groups is our positive stance on direct action as a necessity for the class struggle to be taken seriously.

I am unsure about this, since it's all words, but talking in sound, this sounds like a pretty good iniative, however, only if it stays so. I've always liked Libertarian than Authitorian - it's what seperates the rubble from the egilitarian, me thinkesth
However, Lib-Com might be "Annie" and Auth-Com might be "Commie", but, I think both are "Commie", and the one usually labelled as "Commie" is "Soccie" and wants to stay so, in only that phase. But start small, but don't be afraid to get to higher level. It's only one state, 'neway's, and I don't live in the U.S.
[I took out your comments on acquiring 'arms' that's not really safe to talk about]
I'm actually one of the organizers for this group. I'd like to clarify some things that my comrade didn't.
We don't have an "anti-party" stance. This is incorrect. We accept all revolutionaries, Marxists, MLists, Trotskyites, Maoists, Anarchists, whatever. What he ment by anti-party stance was that we don't wish to become affiliated to or a faction of any organization or party, wether it be the RCP or the CPUSA or NEFAC. We're completely independent We have no ideology, except that we're all Leftist revolutionaries. In regards to tactics. One of the things we are going to focus heavily on is community organizing, like the old Black Panthers. Someone told me a quote that went: "The most dangerous thing that BP did was give free food to poor children." How can one make an apolitical working class political through political means? It doesn't make sense. We want to direct a lot of effort in this area to build a strong class conscious working class community in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. However we don't want to limit ourselves to community organzing also, we will do the usual direct action plus flyering and demos etc.
