yes well i just gave my opinion about force attack of us to overthrow anyone after Castro or instal someone in their intrest and my opinion is also that they would try some other way(not using Iraq way) but i`m sure they`ll give their best to make Cuba follow their intrest and that will be a problem. But i think Castro himself is aware of that and some action plan exist to prevent that ...i hope anyway

Is there anybody here, on this board, who would genuinely want to assist Cuba? Maybe we should travel to Cuba? Seriously.
Okay, how old are you? It's not a rhetoretical question. I am curious.

I can imagine something like:

The Foreign Brigade for Safeguarding Cuba's Independence.

Again...no need for a mojor giant military invasion force...so Britian and Israel wouldnt join, they would perhaps sponsor some terrorists or soemthing.
I would imagine some US marines assisting the gusanos. But perhaps it is not likely, as it would be a risky mission for the US.

But to those who know. Is it true that Castro has "indicated" that Raul would take his seat?
If they had faith in me and my motives, they wouldn't need a union

No Castro hasnt mentioned this I think. I do think that Castro and the Cuban government have a backup plan on what to do when he dies, probably let a younger generation rule or something in those lines. Perhaps Raul would try to take the power but Im not sure.

Ill tell you though, that if that happens this board will grow immensly
The biggest threat to the Modern State is the Working Class, and it is undeniable that we, the working class, have a large amount of influence on state affairs-- even when we choose to ignore them. So far, we have forced the State to cede its power in small increments, only to have it keep overall power in the long run.

Fidel's got one last trick up his sleeve
I think he's got everything ready for when he dies, I mean, the man's an intellectual who led a successful revolution
He's prolly got a younger successor waiting in the wings, who will mos definitely receive support from Venezuela

As far as Bush and Rice (sally hemmings) are concerned, I think they better think twice about doing anything to Cuba
An entire continent of Latin American guerillas who fight for socialism are ready to defend the sovereignty of Cuba
After all, Cuba assisted them during the socialist movements

And if all else fails and the US imperialists did invade, I'd take a trip to Guatemala (my homeland)
Then from Guatemala, I'd travel to Cuba by sea or air, anything to help the Cuban revolution of 59

I rather die fighting, than die in a nursing home

Cuba released some things on this a while ago when it became known..

This is one of the better ones, a speech:

Statement by the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba

Check it out.
"Getting a job, finding a mate, having a place to live, finding a creative outlet. Life is a war of attrition. You have to stay active on all fronts. It's one thing after another. I've tried to control a chaotic universe. And it's a losing battle. But I can't let go. I've tried, but I can't." - Harvey Pekar
