I was a founding member of the SPAZ< (socialist party of AZ) a SP local, At that time, i didnt hold the views i did now, but i was a socialist, so to say, and the most "leftist" member was a self declared communist, and there were inner fueds, and they quickly became really rank reactionary, this is the site that "commy" created into getting people into socialism, by decieving them, this is what he said

We call for reforms in these programs in order to make the system work for everybody, users and non-users. We are supporters of liberalism .....

Socialist--supporters of liberalism--I don&#39;t understand.

We do not have an "all-or-nothing" philosophy. We are a party of compromise. We will always try to meet in the middle, as far as policies are concerned.

In all this party just sounds like a Left-Democrat Party or Green splinter Party trying to not strike a chord. Since they say they are a party of compromise, thats where alot of Democrats would say where the Democrat Party went wrong, because of the Democrats tried to appeal to middle-class suburbanites and Republican voters.

In their issues they don&#39;t exactly say how the demands should be implemented, is this where the deception takes place?

This demand doesn&#39;t sound very socialist to me:

In order to create a successful and prosperous economy we must have a strong healthcare system to keep the labor force healthy. We propose a mix of privatized healthcare for those who want it and socially ran healthcare for those who want and need it. A healthier labor force would be able to produce more products at a higher quality than an unhealthy labor force. Also, out of compassion for the well-being of all individuals it is desireable to help the less fortunate.

A mix of privateized and socialized healthcare isn&#39;t very socialist, unless they intend the socialized section to eventually swallow up the privatized sectors.
A healthier workforce won&#39;t make better products, thats besides the issue. Higher wages might make better products, but better healthcare? Nah.
A free healthcare system isn&#39;t about just the well-being of workers, its about an essential need everyone has.

On Prisons:

We call for prison reforms. We believe that only violent criminals and people who rob should be imprisoned. Drug offenders should be released from prison and the money that was used to keep these offenders incarcerated should be used for drug rehabilitation programs to help those who would be legally using drugs and desire to get off of them. We call for the end of capital punishment. It costs the tax payers millions of dollars per execution, which is money that could be spent better otherwise. Those who are incarcerated should become servants to society; doing the work that we do not want to do. A life is a life and there is still usefulness to it.

This says abosolutely nothing about reforming criminals. They believe criminals should be the janitors, to them manual labour will still exist, theres no thought within this organization to mix manual labour with empowering labour. A truly socialist idea would be to reform the criminals, not punish them with cleansing your toilet bowl for the rest of their miserable lives. I object that if society were to run in such away as turning offenders into janitors the nation would be dependant on people committing crime because this party believes in stricter immigration laws, thus keeping out people who will do the work no one else wishes to do, and then there would be no one to do the crap jobs and this is where criminals come into play.

The only place I really see their deception come into play is that they sited Communist and Socialist organizations on their links and that all the links for Green,Libertarian, Democrat and Republican parties mysteriously don&#39;t work, a bit hamfisted I feel.
