I hate Old Navy it is possibly the cheesiest and worst store I have ever been in (except Wal-Mart).
Yes I do think he might be quite pissed that stores were selling his shirt to make a profit which makes some executive richer.

Don't even buy Che shirts guys, it's bastardizing his image.
MAKE Che shirts. Make a stencil, throw down the paint. Voila.
.
I think the same way as you do. It's bitter and sweet the fact that he has been so capitalized on. But the thing is that many comrades have become what they are by just buying a shirt of Che. I became a Communist that way. Also, the only shirt that I have of Che is one that a cousing of mine bought for me. He bought the shirt in Cuba. In my opinion, I don't approve completely but I'm not against it either because many people come into the light by buying a Che shirt and asking themselves: "Who is this guy?"

when I went to Cuba I bought a rare che coin I know wear it around my neck a bit off topic but this thread made me think of it
Unfortunately, the coins are not rare- they're a dime a dozen.
On shirts- Che would likely have hated it- he once refused to let the media take his photo, saying "I'm not a movie star". I don't doubt he would have looked down on the idea of people wearing pictures of him on their shirt.
However, he's dead, and people wear them. The best we can do with the situation is to talk to these people, ask them if they know who he is, and use it as an excuse to educate them about Che, socialism and Cuba. Taking a moral high ground is not useful, and possibly counterproductive.
