The RAAN Autonomous Publication Initiative is proud to announce the debut of Emotional Poverty. A new zine that picks up where the Herbin' Guerrilla* project left off, EP offers a personal take on the communist process as well as the ongoing development of our network. We have printed 100 copies of the first issue in what has been our network's largest ever single run in North America (500 copies of the Principles & Direction were distributed in Western Europe and Australia).

Emotional Poverty will be available free through the mail until the end of 2005.

If you would like to recieve a copy of EP, simply leave a comment here with your address (not necessarily recommended) or e-mail it to [email protected]. Addresses remain confidential and are not kept in any sort of record.

Downloadable copies as well as a full mailorder will be available shortly.

    * Herbin' Guerrilla was RAAN's first comedy zine. It saw two issues released in late 2003 before being replaced by the more overtly-political Emotional Poverty

And unnatural, irrational, sinful, wicked, unjust, devilish and tyrannical it is, for any man whatsoever - spiritual or temporal, clergyman or layman - to appropriate and assume unto himself a power, authority and jurisdiction to rule, govern, or reign over any sort of men in the world without their free consent...

Sorry, not for direct mailorder just yet. The organization promoting it can be found at http://www.redanarchist.org

Also you can send a paper request to,

Though I can't guarantee how quickly they'll be able to get it out to you. Make sure to specify that you want a copy of Emotional Poverty.

Within the next couple weeks the zine should also be available for download as a .pdf, as should the first 2 issues of HG. If you're in San Diego, DC, Boston, NYC, or Berkley they should have it at local infoshops. More cities soon...
