It's a shame the boy's and girls at AntiFa couldn't make it, they could have had a good all re-enactment of the battle of cable street.h34r:

I've herd of Red Action but I don't know if it was AFA.

Its terrible. I live in Chatham and i found out about the protest the next day. I soooo wanted to be there.
At least i know i got terribly drunk on the bandstand the day before and left cans everywhere lol.
No, I'm pretty sure Red Action pre-dates all the other anti-fa groups. It was a bunch of skins who got kicked out of the SWP and started Red Action as a street based anti-fascist group to counter Blood & Honour.
But with the development of Class War, AFA, and Anti-Fa I was wondering if they dissolved into those groups.

Well I haven’t herd of them now so I suspect there not around anymore. The only anti-fascist stuff I hear from now is AntiFa.

Members of Red Action went on to establish the IWCA .
AFA were predominantly Red Action members who desolved the organisation when they came to the conclusion, rightly or wrongly, that an anti-fascist street presence was no longer needed.
Some ex members of AFA made a political decision to carry on the fight and formed Antifa
Other good sources for antifascism in the UK are NoPasaran! and CW anti fascist page.
we support our troops when they shoot their officers!
Yep Red Action are now involved with the IWCA and AntiFa has taken AFA's place, due to the old men hanging up their docs
Oh and although RA played a leading and rightly respected role within AFA they werent the majority.
