Okay, heres what I don't understand, the majority of you say, that revolution shouldn't be brought out until peace is exhausted. Well, when the hell is it exhausted ? It seems pretty exhausted now. The Capitalists are still occupying foreign countries without legitimate reason, and they who speak against this are with the terrorists. We can't even organize without the fear of entrapment.
We have fucking " Free-speech zones",when we are to protest. The republicans own the whitehouse. What the hell are we waiting for ?

The age of colonialism still exists, not in name but in money and law. It is still colonialism, it controls the people of a foreign nation and kills as many as it used to. The fact that it is now hidden in name makes it worse because the general public dont see it in front of them.

    Capitalism is the problem.

So,it not really about "when peace is exhausted"? Its more to with when the enemy is more visable ?

It easy to say this but, if you think its because the effects of colonialism isn't seen by the general public, then its us who has to expose these montrosities.

We must become our own media.

I agree, we have to become our own media and spread the word which is why I plan on becoming a journalist. I used to say peace was the way but it looks impossible to get anything done peacefully anymore. I think that once the true nature of all politicians and aristocrats is exposed and the workers of america come to their senses their will be a big change.

people have already created there own media. IMC.
It goes one for the student who refuses to submit and two for the teacher who is under-paid as shit, and three for the strikes who give young bloods life and four for the years you spent stifled inside.

Rise up, the thing is, do people really know about IMC? It should be internationally recognised but the capitalists will keep on pouring money into their Daily Mail and Sun newspapers. Dont get me started on the BBC.

To get people to "awaken" to the truth, first they must know that we are here to provide that service. As far as I know, you have to go on the internet for IMC.

Codyvo, I hope you do well as a journalist but again there is the problem of capitalist interests. No popular papers would consider your truthful essays as it undermines their plan to brainwash society.

I have a very intelligent friend who is currently setting up a website on how those in power brainwash society. Hes only 14 and he has come up with a very interesting theory. I will provide a link when hes finished building it.

When the workers are ready and prepared to use violence to defend any changes they demand.

Class consciousness is the classical term for it.

What it means is, that capitalism has forced, for what ever reason, people to question their situations and draw conclusions from it.

It happened in Russia in 1917, it happened in Spain 1936 and Paris in 1968. The state and capitalism forced situations to explode at which point workers, students and peasents became aware of what was "going on" around them.

In times of struggle people gain more confidence. Take the anti-war movement for example or the resistance to the G8. In these times, people become senstive to radical ideas, in Russia it was the tyranny of the Tzar, in Spain the rise of Fascism in Paris it was simply the fact that Police spies frequented the Student Union. These things spark ideas and struggle inspires and people get confidence to change things.

Unfortunatly we live in a society where consumerism and hyper capitalism is imploding society rather than exploding it and we just have to continue with our struggles until something happens to spark off this consciousness, because it isn't us as revolutionaries who should be changing the world, it's the workers, and unfortunatly we have to wait for them to catch up.

Your analogy of "imploding" and "exploding" doesn't much sense to me. How is it our society imploding as to exploding ? Due to the patriot act we got police spies in several organisations. For fucksakes were in trillion dollars of debt over this unjustifiable war, because of this debt and this administration sucking the cock of the right-winged congregation, to get more votes;public spending has been cut from organisation like medicaid, workmans comp, and the federal funding goes to to these unprofessional faith-based organisation or privateized organisations who are looking to scam, and which none of the working people of this country could afford.
Also, because of these cutbacks from public organisations, many workers are out of the job.
Also, our generations Social Security is being used ,without our consent for this groundless war.Our president has no real plans for the working people, only to create proffit for his fellow right-winged corporations and...."stay the course".

And what I've just stated, everyone one in this entire nation knows about this.
I think the plight of the working-class is in this country is obvious.
But, really I think its because everyone just to damned afriad, because "Our Country is at War...tttthey...they n..n...need our help, cos of Al-quieda and stuff and my jjjjjob...how can I Llllive with out it,I'd d d d die !"

Alot of people just can't deal with the feeling of shame of what their Country does to other nations. Islamic Fundimentalism is really an ugly by-product of Yankee Colonialization.

I really believe theres just so much denial going on,and the corporate media just plunges the people deeper into denial.

We need to study our Countrys organs, the government houses, fbi, the corporate media, millitary, cia, police, our trade unions, the leading corporations, education.
And ofcourse look at history. From this we could surely figure out what to do.
But,the only sollution I can see viable as of now is to be our own media and somehow get spread this media on a much larger scale, and last but not least is that radical leftists need to unite.

Peace is exhausted when massive protests, large strikes, and large outcry is unheard. Once we have mobilized and made demands to the government which they will not comply with even with our numbers... the time has come.

Peace is not an over-idealistic philosophy either. Many LARGE changes have happened via peace. However, peace is absolutely ended when others strike upon you, so violence is justified when violence is brought to you unprovoked. Many say this is the capitalist wage-enslavement that justifies it, and I'm not so sure I disagree.
He who was previously the money-owner now strides out in front as a capitalist; the possessor of labour-power follows as his worker. The one smirks self-importantly and is intent on business; the other is timid and holds back, like someone who has brought his own hide to market and now has nothing else to expect but - a good tanning. - Karl Marx, Capital Volume I
