I don't wish to get into a discussion about the politics of this particular organization, I would rather like to call attention to their propaganda.
Read it. Seriously, sit down and read it. Can one not relate easily to it? I sure can and you may too. I believe that this is essential to spreading socialist ideas amongst the people: make it relateable to them. The problem is that socialists often talk amongst themselves so they use complicated language and they also often use it on people who know nothing about it, thus sort of scaring them away.
If we want to get people on our side, if you will, then make your propaganda and your speeches and whatnot relateable. If you read one of their papers called "Your Politics Are Boring as Fuck," you'll see what I mean.

it turned me from marxist leninist to anarchist so it obviously works.

Now he tells you to make cities without bricks!
Yeah, can we get a link to this stuff?

I read alot of there material and I do find it relevant. I do not specifically understand all of CrimethInc 'politics' but I think there broad message is understandable and is helpful towards change.
You can't learn to swim in a library.
Oops! Sorry about forgetting the link.
The thing about CrimethInc is that they tend to contradict themselves or make themselves hard to understand in order to get people to think. One has to remember that the people who run the website(s) are not the "official" CrimethInc group and therefore one cannot judge ALL CrimethInc'ers the same.

Congrats mate.Anarchist-Communist, I presume?
Let no one charge that socialists have arrayed class against class in this struggle. That has been done long since in the evolution of capitalist society. One class is small and rich and the other large and poor....One consists of capitalists and the other of workers. These two classes are at war. Every day of peace is at the expense of labor. There can be no peace and good will between these two essentially antagonistic economic classes. - Debs
of course
Crimthinc is a pretty iffy group in my opinion. They definitely have some reactionary elements, a lot of lifestyle politics etc. And thier rejection of anarchist theory, they claim that there is "no anarchism, only anarchy" that we each define anarchism. That we should leave the theory "to the old guys with beards" and that it isn't realavent.
Sure crimethinc has some good stuff, and I'm sure not every collective agrees with some of that stuff above. But I'd just assume not be involved with a group which contains members who have those views.

I definately agree with a major bunk of what Crimethinc says - with exceptions, of course - that we should - among, but not limited to;
A) Promote actions of good will by helping the unfortunate by givin' away
wasted (unsold products by the end-of-day) to those needy.
and direct sabotage against corporate powers, although avoiding loss of lives.
B) Protest against the powers of Capital by shoplifting ('stealing' material - from shops who have claimed them), squatting ("stealing" house-space - Properity is theft, and houses are abandoned!and take no job, "walk the earth" (having no permanent living-area) and falling in love as a revolutionary action.
C) Do whatever we want- Avoid getting all academical, stop potraying politics as a duty
but as a fun-task to bring down restrictions and limitations in society, havin' sex in the market's and cafe's, runnin' nude in the fields, burnin' religious books, and shootin' down the fuckin' world, build a house and paint a self-potrait and Arrrrrrrrghhhh!
Nawwww, jus'kiddin'. Anyways, they have my support. Aslong as they are pro-letar's,
that is! HAH! Get it?![]()
they are more of a lifestyle then a politics group, but there works makes sense and are well written
Agreed. I liked what I've read through.

i agree. and i read something describeing themselves it was like we dont work together we do our own thing, and this was very strange. so everyone does their own thing and they never communicate on things? wow sounds like a good way to get things done. i guess it works on individual collectives if they are just making propaganda.
And their statements on how "nobody runs crimethinc, we do not exist". They have cool literature which can get people excited and inspired to do things, but they don't provide any structure by which to effect change. And they also don't teach anybody anything, they just get people excited.
