**Hello fellow friends, this is just a thread on peoples OPINIONS, this is not a thread bombing on other religions.I am sorry if we offend you.

my take on religion is that its all bullshit, I belive in that you shouldn't be told what to belive in or you would suffer "eternal damnation" or whatever, satanism is just another form of christiantly, the pentagram actually is a good symbol, for those who don't know what it was; it was the pegan symbol for the life bearer, the woman, anyways all religious symbols all originated from the pagen religion, the catholic church sought out to hide the truth that women are very important( I am not a feminist) thus sought out to destroy any such evidence saying so, hence Mary Magdeline THE WIFE OF JESUS, just things as the Holy Grail is not a cup, and so and so, religion in my opinion is a big barrier in front of our eyes!

If you don't believe in it or don't want to listen to it, then don't partake in it.

It's as simple as that.
I have met neither a religious fanatic nor a hard-core leftist whose arguments did not make me laugh.

The reason is that their arguments are actually one and the same: "it'll work because I believe in it, even though all available evidence is to the contrary."

I think it's quite obvious that we should not worship god, because;

A) God does not exist

B) If he does exist he is not worthy of worship.

C) Institutions 'In God's Name' are a con.

i think religion is important i myself am not a communist yet find nothing really wrong with the ideals but i don't like how it is used in real life. Every so called communist party had ended up being a cross between fascism/dictatorship/communism. I am more anarchist in my thinking and i think religion is one of the main factors in revolutions.

I'm catholic. Was brought up that way. To me it is something sacred and I go every Sunday to mass. I respect every other religion in the world, I don't matter to me that they think different than I do, I recpect others beliefs. I am for armed revolution and I do have a Communist thinking. I just believe in God also. One thing though, I don't agree with the past errors that have been made in the name of Christianity just as I don't agree with the errors made in the name of Communism.

There is no reason to fear death. Once you are dead that is it. If there is nothing, you will never know, if there is something, then you will go to it.

But belief in a god is not needed to believe in either reincarnation or "life-after-death". It could be argued that the sort of god which allows what happens on Earth to continue would randomly put you in either Heaven or Hell after death.

I would not say that there is too much wrong with religion, but MUCH wrong with "organized religion". I was born catholic, but am not one today. I have taken some of what I learned from catholisism, and from other religion as well, to form some of my ideas on God, etc.. I have studied Buddist teachings, Hindu, the Muslim faith, and Wicca., to name just a few. I have found that I have my spirituality and it is not one that is taught in a building with by a hypocrite with a mike. I am more of a earth worshiping person, instead of an idol. I see (what I think of as) God in the places I go camping and climbing. I see it in helping somebody who is in need. God does not need money, or a palace to pray in, he/she/it needs you to help others, protect the planet that provides for you, and to make sure there is something left for those once you are gone. Look at the teachings of communisim. Do they not say that we all help and provide for eachother? Label it religion if you like, I see it more of a spiritual belief. I am by no means a saint, but I do go out and help everybody that I can. And if I am doing that, helping those in need, maybe they will help when they can as well. And then they will also see who is not helping, who is only out for themselves, and who is out only to make money and not further the lives of anybody but themselves.
Full circle man, it all goes around. (that is the kharma thought coming in.)...

This is because there has never been a real communist government. None of them work apart from Castro and Ho Chi Minh but they werent even Communist (well Castro used to be till he opened up Cuba). It is for this reason that we cannot say 'Communism doesn't work' because there's never been a communist state to base that on.

The fact that you're afraid of what happens after death doesn't mean there is a god.

Basically what you're saying is that, while you don't necessarily believe in god, you'd just really like it if there was a god. That don't make it so.

i was a protestant *throws up*

i love the very concept of religion but i have witneassed the practice we live in the practice of religion, and look at it the world is a shit hole.

religion can't save it only the people can, and to do that we are all going to have to let go of our insecurities and work together not attempt to control and segregate the world,

Religion may provide support for some but it provides endless torture for others,

Fanatic christians litterally beat themselves up for there sins, you don't need that. yeah you need guidance and love, but not as an alternative to hell.

the world would be a better place if there was no pretend god, if there is a god then he should pull his omnipotent head out of his omnipresent arse and make a few corrections to his injust selfish, murderous world,

if there was a school for gods, and a pices of work on creating a world yaqweh got an F for this piece of coursework
