I have just read the Da Vinci Code and a few times in mentioned Skevinah. This goddess is supposedly the female counterpart of Yahweh. So does anyone have info on this goddess?

Nevertheless, I do vaguely remember that a temple to a female goddess was excavated in southern Palestine a few years ago...and the hypothesis was offered that it could have been Yahweh's celestial mate.
Remember that Yahweh got his start as a "storm god" (see "The Book of Job") like all of the hotshot divinities in those days (Marduk, Zeus, Jupiter, etc.)...and they all had female gods as wives.
It's certainly possible that Yahweh had a mate...perhaps she dumped him.
