Thats a good idea - we need to adapt these modern technologies to our advantage.

Now, many of those who make these documentaries are probably anti-semites or neofascists. But, being a movie-maker myself, I know that movies is a fast a effective way of putting forward whatever it is they want to say to "the world".
Texts are always useful. But texts containing information, going through steps for the reader to understand it, can often be very long. Music may be another way, but that too, is often associated with entertainment.
I propose that we make our own documentary. At least one we can start with. Doing it step by step, maybe a series - first, what communism, socialism and anarchism really is. Create some graphics so that people all over the world can understand precisely what these systems are. Then, we can make the next volume about how such society works, another one about countries that tried to implement them, and what went wrong, and so on.
It isn't necessary that a person should be in the movie itself - it could very well be done by pictures only.
The distribution is done by internet (as the topic says) - because more and more people are using the internet, and besides this, it's global.
I think it is a pretty good idea. The question now is.... who will the narrator be?

Had this crazy thought recent after watching The Office. How about a documentary-styled filming of a "common" workplace. With a clear political base and line, but not too heavy. We don't want to scare people off with long Chomsky speeches and heavy political stuff. Heavy political stuff usually only gets viewed by the already left.
A bit of humor, drama and workingclass reality. Common problems such as racism, wage cuts, threats of the boss, being fired, looked down upon, alcohol etc. But also a sort of glimpse of hope, by showing how people make mistakes and eventually handle these problems. Showing them their real value in society, how they are eventually all comrades. Even an episode on a strike
If handled well, this could be much more entertaining then a sheer documentary or drama, yet cheaper.
Just a thought.
