I dont support mass killers, unlike hard headed stalinist's
I support that Pol Pot should remain dead.
Was Pol Pot even a leftist? From what I heard, he roped a number of commies into joining his army, and then all of a sudden he was being called a commie himself.
“There are no boundaries in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens anywhere in the world, for a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory; just as any country's defeat is a defeat for all of us.” – Che Guevara
“We still believe that the struggle of Ireland for freedom is a part of the world-wide upward movement of the toilers of the earth, and we still believe that the emancipation of the working class carries within it the end of all tyranny – national, political and social.” – James Connolly
Nope, I hate Pol Pot, I recently ranked him as most evil person of all time. (I decided that someone who declares he was right all the time is far more evil than someone who commits suicide.)
Pol Pot had 1 left wing policy and that was total collectivization. However
He basically ran the place like a factory owner (he used quotas, if you couldn't fill the quotas you leave (by the bayonette))
He believed in the Khmer master race and killed All non-Khmers, not internationalism.
He decided, not that all children should have an education, but that all children who had an education should be clubbed to death, excluding himself of course.
And the USSR and Vietnam both hated him.

I'll bet it's no surprise where I stand on this.
I disagree with his racism and his belief in khmer supremacy over anyone Vietnamese. He purged for racist reasons, unlike Stalin, who did for political reasons.
Anyone who purges and kills for any reason, including political, is, in my humble opinion, a ****.
There must be room for dissent and new ideas in any political system. This is why dictators are, for lack of a better word, wrong.
While I support Castro and his revolution and I don't believe Cuba is as bad as the U.S. media would have you believe, I do believe he should of held free elections long ago.
Not Done! Aka sin miedo.
The 1952 Jewish purge mean anything to you??

Pol pot was another person who used Leftist ideology as a cover for genocide...Fucking ****s like him deserve to be shot for distorting the truth behind our cause, and always makes for bad impressions to other people, this is why those goddamned capitalists always point their dirty little fingers at us.
The prolonged barrage engulfed Zero-One in the glow of a thousand suns. But unlike their former masters with their delicate flesh, the machines had little to fear of the bombs' radiation and heat. Thus did Zero-One's troops advance outwards in every direction. And one after another, mankind surrendered its territories. So the leaders of men conceived of their most desperate strategy yet. A final solution: the destruction of the sky.

1952- the incident involving the doctors? They, as far as i know, were not killed because stalin died first.
The question about supprting Pol-Poth is very weird. Who could supprt it? He was not a communist, far of that... I definitely do hate his kind of assasins who only do smear the reputation of communism. I saw a documental movie about his victims and their children now hated the communist ideology, without thinking that Pol-Poth and his regime were not communist.
Write injuries in sand, kindnesses in marble. That\'s what an Indian philosopher said once. I like this quotation, it\'s full of understanding.
I'm not sure how anyone could support Pol Pot, he carried out the second (to my knowledge) worst genocide in history. The man had nothing to do with communism and in the end the people were liberated by the NVA.
Well actually some did support Pol Pot notably Deng ( who ofcourse invaded Vietnam afterwards for his own imperialist reasons) and the USA who put sactions on Vietnam for the next 10 years.

''That morning, my father took my hand and we went out. I saw how upset all the Algerians looked and how the French were rejoicing. I asked my father what had happened. He gravely replied: 'Stalin is dead...' I asked who Stalin was. My father said: 'He was the greatest man of our time. He was the leader of the Soviet Union, the greatest revolutionary country. Stalin was the son of a cobbler.' And I thought the son of a cobbler, someone like me...' Algerian Revolutionary in fight against French Imperialism.
The World Revolution is ongoing history. Even if you win the war, which I don’t think you will, the World Revolution will not and cannot be stooped by military means, Your very powerful army can do much harm to us, can kill many of our people - but it cannot kill ideas! Its movement might seem dormant to you at the moment, but it s there and will come to the fore again out of the awakening of the poor, the downtrodden orginary people the world over in Africa, the Americas, in Asia and Europe too. People in their masses will one day understand that it is the power of capital over them which not only oppresses and robs them, but stifles their human potential, which either uses or discards them as mere pawns to make monetary profit out of the,. Once the people grasp that idea, it will mature into an almost material force in popular uprisings like spreading wildfires and will do what has to be done in the name of humanity. It will not be Russia who will do it for them, although the Russian working people were the first who have borken the chains. The people of the will do it for themselves in their own countries, against their own oppressors, in their own ways and in their own time!’
A 'Stalinist Beuracrate' to his Fascist Guards in Nazi Camp.
he deserves to be beaten, preyed upon by vultures, starved, pierced in every place on his body, have objects of all sizes rammed up his anus, then set afire. Then crucified, then starved again.
Direct action is key- don't just sit at your computer and rant at leftists you disagree with slightly- get out there and DO IT. Organize. Change your life, and change the lives of those around you. The reason the waterheads are still in power is because we aren't being loud enough.
Pol Pot had a fantastic dream of a great Utopia bereft of suffering. Unfortunately, he went a bit loopy and decided that killing 90% of the population was the best way to achieve this.
So I support his goal, but not his method.

The avalanche has started, it is too late for the pebbles to vote.
Pol Pot called us Maoists "counterrevolutionary."
I realize it's tough to straighten that all out with the intense propaganda though. You'll have to wade through a lot of shit to figure it out.
Those of you who have ever said anything good about Republicans or Democrats (USA) have more to do with him than we do. They gave him military aid as caught on videotape by 60 Minutes.

Pol Pots Genocide was not the second worst in history, it is the second most publicised though.
The worst Genocide happened long before the 20th Century in China, Invading Mongol armies massecred 35 million Chinese Peasants. After that you've got the Holocaust where 13 million died, after that you've got the Cambodian Genocide and the Armenian Genocide which had similar numbers of victims, unless you call the Ukrainian Famine or the Belgian Congo a Genocide in which case they're probably about the same level as the holocaust.

35 million, i think it was 20 million but the difference is the Mongols were a "barbarian" people while the Khmer Rouge is a group that only stopped activities recently(or might not have stopped at all i think).
nope it was 35 million

i can't see why he would destroy the educational system and kill the intellectuals... reform the system, do not destroy it... his acts set back cambodia generations in terms of development of educatiom, health and general infastructure... he was a dellusioned mass murderer with an army to carry out nationwide slaughter
