However I appreciate your efforts, but there are already such organisations. There are New Yorkian, American, North American and even global anarchist organisations.

The Global Communist Partnership (GCP) is a partnership that is
a way of uniting revolutionary induviduals, Leftist Political Parties,
Anarchist organizations and unions, and etc. It is a more formal
way of uniting the left on a more common basis. This also
allows us to communicate more directly.

The Global Communist Partnership is made up of the committee.
Within this commitee, there is no leader, however the committee
would operate on a democratic fashion; we would all vote on issues
that are effecting the left tremendiously

Let no one charge that socialists have arrayed class against class in this struggle. That has been done long since in the evolution of capitalist society. One class is small and rich and the other large and poor....One consists of capitalists and the other of workers. These two classes are at war. Every day of peace is at the expense of labor. There can be no peace and good will between these two essentially antagonistic economic classes. - Debs
We are not an anarchist organization.
Are you a member?
And there are even Communistic/Anarcho-communistic global organisations.

I am the founder.
we aren't "anything" -- we do not carry any kind of label like this. Our members are welcomed from all parts of the far left.
Have you approached any of the larger international organizations yet?
If you're able to get interest from at least a few groups, and produce some more information, I'll gladly mention it at a club meeting. I don't think a resolution could be made until the party conference this summer, but if this is a serious long-term project . . .
(I confess, the party is probably about 1/3 crusty old Stalinists, bless them, but perhaps the more radical, younger wing could push such a resolution through? The party has shown itself willing to work in partnerships, like the UFP.)
The life we have conferred upon these objects confronts us as something hostile and alien.

Well, right now it's still in it's infancy, and we're not trying to just get "as many people as possible." The goal is to build up slowly and have a decent foundation. The way it's set up is to allow both parties and individuals to join. The main thing that we're trying to do is:
a) keep this completely democratic
ALL committee members (individuals, party representatives, union representatives) are given a vote. We do not afford singular votes to all members of joined parties, as we assume they follow the parties platform and thus agree with whoever is sent from that party to represent them.
b) keep it 100% non-hierarchical.
Our focus is on simplifying communication and creating focused goals for the left, not telling people what to do. There are no "leader" there are no "chairmen" -- there is no singular member who is more important than any other member. ALL things are put to a vote, and all members can propose something to be put to a vote.
c) we are not restricted to single ideologies
If indeed your party is anti-anarchist, or anti-maoist, or anti-leninist and refuses to work with them, it is doubtful that your membership would make a lot of sense.
What we are trying to do now, and the reason firefox posted in here, is build a strong base of individuals first, once we do that we can at least establish our methods (i.e. how we will organize votes, how we will create the means to facilitate communication). Once our methods are established I'd say it's open season for anyone who wants to join, at that point the website should be more mature with a lot more information on it. Right now, if you're interested in signing on as an individual you can talk to me or firefox, we are doing little more than taking names at the moment. If indeed you want to push for the party, I would wait until it's built up a bit more from the individual's contributions. Things to keep in mind... this is not a "super-party" -- we do not influence the way member parties are formed, nor do we influence their methods of how they work. What we aim to do is set down a number of goals which all of the left can agree upon, and make those the primary focus of the partnership.
No!
There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain
I agree in principle with the idea but this kind of task should be initiated by political organisations themselves, not by individuals.
There are Internationals of parties/organisations, and it should be those entities which are calling for unity within the far left. I can't see how this project will influence greatly the actions of entire movements?
But i'd be more than happy to be proven wrong.
If the individual chooses to join or not, why should a political party be the founder of something like this, not an induvidual? I think these kind of projects are good and wish you the best of luck. I might possibly contact any of you, if I do not forget it, which I probably will...![]()
Unity is the foundation of all things because of the Mathematical element throughout the Universe;
All numbers are evolved from the One and will always resolve themselves back into it.

I've looked around but I can't find anywhere to join could you tell me where I could?
No War but Class War
"I am suffering this ordeal partly because I sought an honourable and equitable via media of conflicting interests in order to harmonise our disjointed structure. It seems that the lesson of this coup d’etat is that via media, a modus vivendi, a compromise is a utopian dream. The coup d’etat demonstrates that the class struggle is irreconcilable and that it must result in the victory of one class over another. Obviously, whatever the temporary setbacks, the struggle can lead to the victory of one class.” - Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, former leader of Pakistan, on the eve of his execution.
“If we oppose terrorist acts, it is only because individual revenge does not satisfy us. The account we have to settle with the capitalist system is too great to be presented to some functionary called a minister” – Leon Trotsky, 1909.

Sorry about the late response, this thread seemed to spring ot life over night. To answer OglachMcGlinchey, You can officially represent another organization, however, it should be noted there we do permit members of existing represented organizations to join. One person/party/organization = one vote. This means at current, you're entire organization would only get one vote to represent itself on issues. If they so wish to be individually represented then they are able to join on their own.
As for a general response... once again this idea is still in it's infancy, and right now we were focusing on growing on and individual level. If you're interested in joining, you can private message Communist FireFox. He will take some basic info (and you should also leave him with your e-mail even if he doesn't request it). Right now the board seems to have a technical difficulty for me (I never got the confirmation e-mail thing). But do TRY and sign up on the board at least if you're interested.
Once we have reached a decent amount of base members (individuals or parties) we will begin establish the initial goals and procedural outlines for what we are doing.
To T_SP. You can join if you are part of another organization, party, whatever.... you can even join to represent that party (if you are indeed in that position).

I'd like to mention to all existing GCP members who we've gotten through che-lives who may not be checking the board that frequently, PLEASE start doing so. I've done some rather major updates necessary to set the ball in motion. There's already a proposition I added up on there, currently all members are individual members with the exception of our representative from the IRSP. This means that the majority of you on here reading this are committee members, which means you should go there and read the proposition and start debating. I've also added some basic FAQ type info, a quick guide to formulating propositions, and a few responses to existing threads.
