I think it's complete and utter tripe. It bases itself on the same old arguments of the left being akin to fascists with a few added twists comparing our denunciation of fascists as scum to the Nazi's denunciation of the Jews. If this was printed, I wouldn't use it to wipe the dog's arse. I know this is hardly a piece by piece critique of the article but anyone who read's it can tear it apart themselves.
There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

    No, that's going too far.

Barry Bonds is a better baseball player than I am and he knows it.

Linus Tovald is a better computer scientist that I am and he knows it.

And so on...through millions and tens of millions of people who are better at stuff than I am, who know more, and who are well aware of their superiority.

There's nothing "fascist" about any of that...until that superiority is transformed into a "right" to exploit me.

Once somebody says that not only do they know more than me or are able to do stuff better than I can, but that their undeniable superiority confers the right to do with me as they wish...then they have crossed over into a fascist view.

People have different abilities, different talents, have acquired different amounts of knowledge, etc.

No one has the "right" to rule!

Saying it's fascist to want to silence fascists is like saying its fascist to want to silence a sex offenders rights activist.

I remember when Dave Simpson from the Melody Maker claimed that the anti-fascist band Blaggers ITA were no better than the nazis. Matty from the Blaggers gave Dave Simpson a slap for talking [email protected]

"The sun shines. To hell with everything else!" - Stephen Fry

"As the world of the spectacle extends its reign it approaches the climax of its offensive, provoking new resistances everywhere. These resistances are very little known precisely because the reigning spectacle is designed to present an omnipresent hypnotic image of unanimous submission. But they do exist and are spreading.", The Bad Days Will End.

"(The) working class exists and struggles in all countries, and has the same enemies in all countries – the police, the army, the unions, nationalism, and the fake ‘socialism’ of the bourgeois left. It shows that the conditions for a worldwide revolution are ripening everywhere today. It shows that workers and revolutionaries are not passive spectators of inter-imperialist conflicts: they have a camp to choose, the camp of the proletarian struggle against all the factions of the bourgeoisie and all imperialisms." -ICC, Nation or Class?
