Nazi-Aufmarsch in
Hannover stoppen
Antifa-Demo – 10.30 Uhr – Klagesmarkt
Zugtreffpunkt für Frühaufsteher-Antifas aus Berlin
04:45 Uhr Regiogleis Alexanderplatz (Abfahrt 05:07 Uhr)
Ich werde da sein, falls jemand hin will bescheid sagen.

Today on SA, 23.10.04 There was a joint Nazi protest in my hometown, Hannover, by the NPD (National Democrat Party of Germany, the ideological successor of the NSDAP) and the "freie Kameradschaften" (independent neo-nazi groups who consider the NPD 'too reactionary' and 'too reformist'.
The motto of the demonstration roughly translates to 'deconstruction of the social network, theft of pensions and corruption -not with us!'. The fact that nazis pick up leftwing topics to use them for their own fascist agenda is nothing new. This years protest was directed mostly against the 'Hartz IV concept', a much disputed 'package' of social reforms which has been one of the primary reasons for the social unrests all over Germany over the last couple of months.
On the day prior to the demo several people were attacked and beaten up by the nazis.
The Antifascist Action Hannover (AAH) together with other leftist groups such as the KPD, SDAJ, PDS, Young Socialists, other AA groups and many more organized a counter-demo.
The counter demo was impeded by the police on several occasions for reasons that are plain simply rediculous, for example they claimed that some of us were carrying sticks and stones - which noone did of course.
After the counter-demo ended, we tried to block the demo route of the nazis (which was less peaceful, for obvious reasons). Unfortunately we were unable to stop the nazi-demo like last year because there were just too many cops, but at least we caused some delay ( I'll leave out the details on purpose).
In total there were 3000 antifascists and about 200-and-something Neonazis, according to the police, and about 2000+ cops.
EDIT: The original posting just contained the call to protest (date, time, location etc.) so I didn't translate it.
Fucking cops...Always protecting the nazis....they and their tanks and shit. I see the pics from Leipzig: http://www.mob-action.de/bilder/cate....php?cat_id=91
You germans are very good at rasing barricades quick and everyware...but I saw no molotovs and few stones. 3000 antifascists can take on 2000 cops, not in hand to hand fighting, but with speed and quick ranged attacks. Outmanouver them, strike where they least expect it and shower them with stones and mollies, till they flee and call for backup, run past them and beat the nazis....yeah, i know. Its much harder in practice, and its hard to get out with the info anyway....Well, well...if you continue like this....do you have any idea how much this costs? When will the cops realize that their can spend their millions on other things then protecting nazis?
Yeah, but this time they were really well prepared. The helicopters were a much bigger problem than the armored vehicles. Anyway, I just read that the demo was a big desaster for the Nazis, so our protest was effective. There were several barricades too this time, which forced them to change their route.
Pictures of the Antifa Demo can be found here, the last two are pictures of the Nazi demo, pictures of the blockade that followed later are not available.
I just hope that the state and the responsible authority will realize the futility of all of this and that they are willing to prevent the next nazi-demo.
go there demonstrate and see you first of mei 2005 in berlin ,you may understand then german anti riot tactics,as well as guerilla ones
