Antifaschistische Linke Berlin (anti-fascist Left Berlin)
United against racism!
Fight the roots together!
The symbol of the "antifascist-action" stands for an anti-fascist, non-parliamentary movement, which is independent from political parties. It has it's origins in the militant autonomous movement of the 80ies. Specially in the 90ies this movement was very present publically, last not least because fascists of all kind had become much power in the aftermath of 1989 and racism had reached an unknown quality since 1945. Racist and antisemitic acts of terror and murders were strongly linked to state-racism.
Today, fascists do not dominate the public image of Germany, but racist structures have increased strongly in law and deportation politics. The governmental politics are not only tolerated but supported openly by the majority of the German society.
The situation can also be seen as an expression of privileged chauvinism or eurocentrism, which defines Europe as not responsable for it's colonial history. A history which meant the exploitation of mankind and nature on all continents and which does not question the cause of unequal distribution of wealth and poverty. Quite to the contrary, Germany and other European states continue their capitalist history of war, oppression and exploitation.
We want to fight racism on the streets, in school or at work - we want to abolish capitalism which we see as the cause of racism, sexism, antisemtism . which is the cause of exploitationof mankind through it's own fellows.
together the future belongs to us..

"The proletariat, when it seizes power [...] should and must at once undertake socialist measures in the most energetic, unyielding and unhesitant fashion, in other words, exercise a dictatorship, but a dictatorship of the CLASS, not of a party or of a clique -- dictatorship of the class, that means in the broadest possible form on the basis of the most active, unlimited participation of the mass of the people, of unlimited democracy." - Rosa Luxemburg
"An Rhein und Ruhr marschieren wir. / Für unsere Freiheit kämpfen wir! / Den Streifendienst, schlagt ihn entzwei! / Edelweiß marschiert – Achtung – die Straße frei!"
