Many people remain quite opposed to the goverment spying on them, but if the issue is allowed to fade from the press and the public eye people will forget to voice their opposition. Civil dissobedience is probably one of the most powerfull tools in keeping the issue in the media.
Of course they have to wear masks they're targeting cameras, I also recomend coveralls. Both are easy to remove quickly allowing you and your compatriots to slip away in street clothes while not providing a description for the authorities.
And while I feel anyone driving an unescesarily expensive car makes themselves a target for vandalism. If your hoping to gain public support for your opposition, alienating the most powerfull segment of your community may nopt be the way to go. I would destroy cameras and target official buildings one night and leave symbols of economic desparity for next month.

OK graet idea i love the idea that your going to samsh most of the the camras aorund you city or somehting.
Heres a idea for you you have one person walking down the street. Question: waht kind of camras are they using. is it bihind a glass where they can rotate it and you cant tell where it is pointing something like in the super markets or one of thus reguler camras where you can see wheres it pointing? Back to my idea. you should have one person walking down the street and have him walk accross town and every time his around smash the camras. it well freak them out.

Synchronize your watches, and smash/stencil at the same time so that the police dont have time to get to every single camera. Say two people get caught, well thats two out of twenty. You have gotten your message out, avoided maximum casualties, and can strike again on a later date.
DO NOT target peoples cars. Then the Burgeoius will be less inclined to back you in the removal of cameras, and will WANT cameras to protect their property.
