I speak danish and understands swedish and norwegian, except from that crazy nynorsk . But as far as I know many norwegian people don't even understand that artificial language. Most of my norwegian family don't.

Well Denmark is more urban than the rest of scandinavia so of course we have a more "rough" edge on our language.
For most danes Norwegian and Swedish sounds like your singing when you talk.

Anyway it shouldn't be a problem for anyone speaking one of the languages to understand the others, I never had problems with it.

Denmark has less rural locations than, as an example, Norway.

Beautiful languages, aren't they
Adiel: How can you defend a country where 5 percent of the people control 95 percent of the wealth?
Lisa: I'm defending a country where people can think and act and worship any way they want!
Adiel: Cannot!
Lisa: Can to!
Adiel: Cannot!
Lisa: Can to!
Homer: Please, please, kids; stop fighting. Maybe Lisa is right about America being the land of opportunity, maybe Adiel has a point about the machinery of capitalism being oiled with the blood of the workers.

Well there is more cities and less country side. Even though Denmark is smaller than both Sweden and Norway our Capital is the biggest in Scandinavia. So I would say Denmark is more urban. Why do you think we go to Norway or Sweden to see some nature?

Yep. But danish is better for slang

Well we can even beat you at that. Copenhagen is the worlds 8. most expensive city. Appart from fundamentals such as beer and cigarettes.

Here's the 15 most expensive cities to live in:

1. Tokyo
2. London
3. Moscow
4. Osaka
5. Hong Kong
6. Geneve
7. Seoul
8. Copenhagen
9. Zürich
10. St. Petersburg
11. Beijing
12. New York
13. Milano
14. Dublin
15. Oslo

It's based on the price for food, transportation, clothes, entertainment etc. I didn't know that Moscow and St. Petersburg were so expensive. The least expensive city is the capital of Paraguay, Asunción.

btw, Stockholm is my favourite of the Scandinavian capitals.
hahahaha look at that stupid kid

Oi!
I speak swedish, I understand norweigan (cant even imagine how an angry norweigan sounds...the language is so happy in a way), though I have some problem understanding danish, but it usually works fine after some "what?"

I like Gothenburg, and Denmark, but I havent really been in Norway.
