i have to somehow agree when American President, Reagan said that :

The competitive free enterprise system has given us the greatest standard of living in the world , produced generation after generation of technical wizards who consistently lead the world in invetion and innovation ............

just to clear things up, i am sure when he says us he refers to the wealthy and i also know he didnt realize at what cost do we get the "greatest standard of living"


this is a quote from Capitalist Imperial, which is very similar:

"Without the initiative, invention, and innovation inherent to the individual within free competition, and the resulting benefit to everyone, the entire collective of mankind ceases to progress."

basically what he is saying that if we change to socialism and ,later on communism, there wont be a progress in technology and therefore, there wont be a progress in mankind



so anybody has any responds to these quotes???

i believe technology will keep on going , science will keep on going , regardless of our political system
