I went there with Pastradamus and andy, There were about 300 people there, some old, most middle aged and lots of students there too, some fella fron the Cuba Support Group, Declan, talked first and introduced Aleida she then talked about some history of Cuba and the trade blockade to the free training of doctors, health system and literecy rate, education. She spoke spanish and had two translators with her.

There were things on sale there and afterwards people could ask questions, and someone asked about the law and said that fidel castro was the law and was feared by people, Aleida replied by saying if you dont break the law and dont hurt the people you have nothing to fear from him.

She also said that Fidel was like a father to her when Che wasn't there and said that she loved them both very mush. It was very interesting.
    Any Questions,

No it's free on the basis that you can donate what you want when your coming in,to the cuban support fund.
the reason she aint gonna be in the US is because she is strongly anti-american.

There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

She sounds lovely. Her father would be exceedingly proud of her, I'm sure she's very aware of that, as should she be.

thats what they say in the states.. what's up with that? Thanks for the info but that part doesn't really mean anything to me. Here in the states if we don't have "illegeal" abortions, don't smoke weed or pay taxes for wars and programs you don't like, don't forget to register your car or try to get married if you are gay, we also have nothing to fear... stour laws still eat shit and put thousands of peaceful people in jail. not a good defense of castro at all...
