I'm trying to catch something on Discovery about "Humanzee"
I've searched the net, but information is hard to come by.
Does anyone have any good info on this? Thanks

The April, 1972 issue of The Thunderbolt (a White Supremacist, Christian Magezine) featured a full article called "Can A Negro and An Ape Mate? THe Answer is Yes!"
even though that has nothing to do with this, it is still a sickening chronical of pseudo-science being used to promote hatred. But if you start reading this racist journals, as I have taken it upon myself to, you will quickly find that Chimpanzees would be too smart to even consider it. this is the first I have heard of this hybrid species, it looks like something that you would find in an inquirer magazine.
However, it is interesting,
if man can indeed mate with a great ape ie. chimp, gorillia, etc.
then the offspring would produce a hybrid species, which would be unable to re-produce, freaky no doubt
an example of a hybrid species is a mule, half horse half donkey
or a ligar, half lion, half tiger, usually only possible between closley realted species with the same genus ie.scientific classification

SAN ANTONIO -- No, Oliver is not human.
But whether the easygoing, middle-aged chimpanzee who walks upright and once enjoyed a nightcap while watching TV is an ape hybrid, a mutant or an entirely new species is still unclear.
"There is no evidence of a human-chimpanzee hybrid," said David Ledbetter, a University of Chicago geneticist who conducted the first-ever DNA test on the chimp that for years was hailed on the freak-show circuit and in tabloids as the so-called missing link between man and monkey.
Ledbetter's testing, completed amid little hoopla last fall, found no evidence of human chromosomes in the chimp's blood. But his research leaves unexplained Oliver's unchimplike peculiarities and mannerisms -- such as walking on two feet --which continue to generate heated debate among a small group of Oliver aficionados.

The story of Oliver is nothing special...
I have read numerous articles about him and they all conclude he was a larger than average male chimp who had several genteic defects that made him appear more "human".
And Rotten.com is not a great place top look for the truth.
Oliver was exploited by circus owners for decades untill he was bought by scientists, his "human-like" traits were probably learned by force to put on a show as an attraction.
The political spectrum in the United States is so narrow and so far to the right that any "election" or "debate" is simply two aristocrats trying to please the sheep who follow them blindly wherever the leader tells them to go.
I've seen that show. Oliver did not like Chimps. He liked women.
On descovery a woman who owned him talked about how Oliver used to try to make moves on her all the time.
Poor monkey.

Yeah i saw that show too, oliver liked to walk upright even over long distances, something that even well-trained circus chimps absolutely refuse to do.
And apparently, the reason his first owner sold him was due to his sexual advances on her. Apparently, she wasn't very cool with the interracial thing.

I saw that documentary a few days ago.
It also mentioned "Ligers" or half-tigers / half-lions. Which have actually grown to be very large.
the closest realted great ape to homo sapian sapians (US) is a species of Chimpanzee called the Bunobo Chimp, and has a similar sexual orientation, where the female is always in ustrus.
This idea of a humanzee can not be unproved that easily
and there is only one way to truley find out!
Can beastiality prove benificial to modern science?

I was watching the story they did of oliver the humanzee this afternoon. (unfortunatley I had to leave and go to a museum and take pictures of myself in front of big-ass war planes covered in bird shit for extra credit for my wh class...I am so getting an A this semester!
Anyways, it was really interesting and at the same time really disgusting. So did some sicko have sex with a chimp or wtf?!
But that doesn't explain why he walked upright. Normal chimps can't do that cause of the way their hips are made. Well, not made but you know what I mean.
Also, his chimp buddies didn't like him cause of his scent...And what about his nasty attraction to that lady? They finally got rid of him after he tried to umm get her from the behind.
