Obviously some scum. It seems to be "hip" for the fascist lately to use "traditional" leftist and topics, symbols and slogans to agitate and to recruit (see also may day thread in this forum), I thought this is mainly a German phenomenon, but now it seems to be international. Needless to say that this is highly dangerous.

there has actually been a lot of problems lately in TO with anti-semitism... holocaust survivors waking up to find swastikas painted on their doors. its pretty scary that there are still so many people who think like that. and the worst is that skinheads often suffer as a result (as i hope many of you know, true skinheads aren't actuallly racist..in fact the opposite). but how do we combat it ...... these are scary people. hell many of them will even watch amercian history x and tell you that the guy had it right before he went to jail. so what do we do other than try to expose them?

Well if they start-up in Vancouver, they'd better lay low. I'd be hard-pressed to get my freind off their asses for most political issues. But I'm sure all my freinds, and even some of my enemies would be ready to ride in an insant to fight nazis.
As an Anarchist, I strangely find myself getting along better with Maoists than Platformists!
I've got the neo-nazi problem everwhere.... there are about 50 that I know about in st. petersburg alone...and a few go to my school. While 50 in a city of 500,000 isn't that many, I don't know 50 people who would be willing to go fight them.
The political spectrum in the United States is so narrow and so far to the right that any "election" or "debate" is simply two aristocrats trying to please the sheep who follow them blindly wherever the leader tells them to go.
I am aware that modern firearms are dishonerable and cowardly, but I pick survival to chivalry any day of the week. The big problem with these Nazis is that unlike other groups of people, they are most likely not going to change. Ten years down the line they're still going to hate jews, they're still going to hate us, and they're still going to go around attacking defenseless people at night. Most of us don't see many alternatives other than murdering them in mass numbers; then again, most of us are a little deranged and would probably get some type of pleasure from doing that. Not that I'm one of those people, or anything. I'm sure the most pacifistic members of the board could offer more socially acceptable solutions to the problem.

We should be very, very aware and know that the nazis uses a divide and conquer 'strategy' worse than most capitalists. They claim they are one of us, the communists, and then break us from inside. In fact, if we look at history, Hitler did exactly the same in Germany within the National Socialist Workers Party or what it was called. They are a danger to the revolution, and - DONT BE FOOLED!!! It has happened many times before.

I am pitted against a band of about 14 Nazis in my Town. It is a small-white southern town. I've been in contless fights with them.
^ Keep fighting rally up some freinds. The way to fight the fascists is run them out of the neihboorhood. Show them they are not wanted. Fight large numbers, with larger numbers. I'm sure not everyone down there is a fascist.

Am I the only guy here who has contact with Nazi's in a good manner? The ones who I talk to are not real Nazi's. They are those who follow the herd. I have been talking a lot to them and it seems like it has worked. Already some ideas of them have changed. If I can talk to them and try to convince them then surely you can too, because I am Afgan.

I have been doing the same and it have had a positive effect on them. The thing is most of these people are misguided individuals that don't really have any knowlegde to back up their ideology. You of course can't argue with die hard nazis, but there is a large periphery who can change.

I havnt met a single Nazi in my life and really that is such a good thing, altho the amount of Conservatives around here is alarming but thats not really in the same league.

I haven't met anyone. I think the neo-nazi movement in Norway hit a rock-bottom after the killing of a innocent kid called Benjamin. He was killed because of the colour of his skin, and I think that make the police focus more on this sort of people stronger than ever.
Heh, interestingly enough, one of my good friends is a neo-Nazi. He describes himself as a "true National Socialist, not a scum Hitlerist Nazi". We've talked countless hours about it, to sum it up; he's basically a Socialist who values nationalism, instead of internationalism like traditional Marxist socialists.
I find that the Nazi movement is very interesting in it's similarities to the communist/socialist movement, some neo Nazis view Hitler the same way most commies view Stalin, as a stain on their name, and some are doing everything they can to disassociate their selves from Hitler and Hitlerist factions of the Nazi movement. The only difference is, instead of the majority being anti-Hitlerist like the majority of commies are anti-Stalinist, the majority of neo-Nazis are diehard Hitlerists.
Anyway, my friend is racist, but not like you would typically think of a racist. He's not a white supremacist; in fact he thinks that all white people should get the hell out of America, as it's the Native Americans' land. And he believes in Black Nationalism just as well as he believes in White Nationalism.
