I think that those who do not agree with the misguided people in this opposing views section should simply not respond to the comments they make in it. It is after all a response from us that they want when they make idiotic comments of the, “What’s so bad about America,” type. We should simply stop posting in this area and let the Right Wing idiots express their misconceptions amongst themselves, rather than give them the pleasure of knowing they provoked a response from the dissident community.

I concur with you, but isolating them instead of teaching them is not going to get rid of their capitalist tendancies.

Wouldn't it be easier (and more honest) to admit you haven't got a clue ?

We respond to right wingers because they are allowed to argue their side of a debate.... I acknowledge, but do not support their views however, they have the right to have a debate with leftists with real responses and not have the thread turn into a flame war like they do on right wing boards.
The political spectrum in the United States is so narrow and so far to the right that any "election" or "debate" is simply two aristocrats trying to please the sheep who follow them blindly wherever the leader tells them to go.

    Are you kidding me?

I thrive on debate. As much as I disregard there ideologies, theories, and immature name calling. I eat it all up!

What fun would this board be without them? Debates would then resort to:

"What was Karl Marx' favorite color?"

    "Blood red"

    "No it's shiny red"

"No, your an idiot, it's flame red"

See what I am saying here? As much as I despise their immature name calling, and conservative logic. Who else are we going to argue with?

Debating with right wingers in this enviroment will allow you to develop arguments for use in real life situations where it counts.

Second of all you should have no problems debating anybody if your convictions are strong enough.

The cappies here are at a severe disadvantage. I almost feel sorry for them.

Numerical firstly but not just. I'm sure there are folks out there that can put up a better ideological defense of Capitalism than what you see here. In the real world there is no shortage of competent Capitalist guard dogs ready to take up the standard of private capital.

Lately his slogans are getting repetitive, I think that he ran out of qoutes from "capitalism for dummies"

What was so fresh about this man and why was he de-spicing people's sentences?

Wasn't the quote you were meant to post written by a woman, anyway?
