Despite more than 316,000 signatures demanding the court to drop the charges
On March 14, Naha District Court Handed Down its Verdict Against the Three Okinawa Anti-Bases Activists:
Hiroji Yamashiro:
Two years in prison with hard labor with three years’ suspension of sentence
Hiroshi Inaba:
Eight months in prison with hard labor with two years’ suspension of sentence
Atsuhiro Soeda:
Eighteen months in prison with hard labor with five years’ suspension of sentence
BUT THE GLOBAL CAMPAIGN TO DROP ALL CHARGES
