In 2015, the people rose up and spoke out against the construction of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline — an irresponsible project that would put thousands of people’s land, water, and basic rights in danger — until its construction was successfully blocked.

However, the Trump administration has despicably put Keystone XL back on the table. But we have seen for ourselves that the people are more powerful than polluters — and we know that the people can win again.

On August 6, Water Protectors, Pipeline Fighters, and activists from near and far will gather to march through the streets of Lincoln, Nebraska on the eve of the Keystone XL intervenor hearings at the Nebraska Public Service Commission. We will send a clear message to the Commission that Keystone XL is a serious threat to Indigenous sovereignty, public health, and the climate.

Chris, your voice is needed in Nebraska — and YOU have a chance to take part in this critical march!

People will be busing into Nebraska from across the country — and there’s a bus pickup location near you! Will you get on the bus to stop one of the worst fossil fuel projects of our time?
