What they did and what you said

Dear Chris,

We are almost 100 days into the new federal administration and our Wall of Kindness campaign. In response to increased reports of anti-LGBTQ harassment and anticipation of rollbacks of civil rights protections, we asked people to show their support for LGBTQ students. The outpouring of encouragement and kind words we’ve seen since has been overwhelming.

Here's a timeline of your messages in response to the new administration –

Right now, many thousands of students across the country are preparing for the GLSEN Day of Silence on Friday, April 21st, when they will take a vow of silence for the day to demonstrate the effect of anti-LGBTQ bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

There’s still time to post a message of support to show that you stand with LGBTQ youth. Visit the Wall of Kindness now to post for the first time or post again.

Your participation, especially during this critical moment, is so important to students nationwide.
