Antiwar Events in Chicago This Week


Hello Chicago area friends and allies,

As tensions mount with North Korea and the Trump administrations bombs ever more places, antiwar organizing is as urgent as ever.

Please join us in Chicago tomorrow, April 18th for the annual antiwar tax day protest from 11 am to 1 pm at the Chicago Federal Plaza. We will be conducting a penny poll and passing out flyers. On Wednesday, April 19 Kathy Kelly, who is #FastingforYemen, will speak about her recent trip to Afghanistan, and the situation in Yemen. 7pm, St. Gertrude Parish Ministry Center (6214 N. Glenwood Avenue in Chicago).

On Thursday, April 20th we will have our monthly chapter meeting at the Eighth Day Center for Justice, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at 8th Day, 205 W. Monroe, Chicago. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Feel free to bring a sandwich or snack for yourself to eat during the meeting. Please let me know if you will be attending for the first time.
