Discussion with Carl Dix on...

Sunday, March 26, 3:30pm
Revolution Club Organizing Center
1857 E. 71st Street (2 blocks west of Jeffery)
The Revolution Club invites you to an important presentation and discussion with Carl Dix “From the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party to ALL People: WHAT THE TRUMP/PENCE REGIME WILL MEAN FOR BLACK PEOPLE—AND WHAT MUST BE DONE ABOUT IT, NOW!"

As that statement says: Chicago is infamous for the true horror of young Black people killing each other. And now Chicago is ground zero for Trump’s overall offensive against Black people.

Bob Avakian, (BA), the leader of the revolution, has charted a different plan: REVOLUTION. BA says:
There is the potential for something of unprecedented beauty to arise out of unspeakable ugliness: Black people playing a crucial role in putting an end, at long last, to this system which has, for so long, not just exploited but dehumanized, terrorized and tormented them in a thousand ways—putting an end to this in the only way it can be done—by fighting to emancipate humanity, to put an end to the long night in which human society has been divided into masters and slaves, and the masses of humanity have been lashed, beaten, raped, slaughtered, shackled and shrouded in ignorance and misery.

Join Carl Dix at the Revolution Club Organizing Center to get into this and what must be done.

Carl Dix is a representative of the Revolutionary Communist Party. He is a revolutionary from the ‘60s who has never sold out or compromised. In 1970, Carl was one of the Fort Lewis 6, six GIs who refused orders to Vietnam. This was the largest mass refusal of orders to Vietnam. Dix served two years in Leavenworth Military Penitentiary. He is an initiator of Oct 22nd National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation and he co-founded, with Cornel West, the Stop Mass Incarceration Network. Dix is an initiator of Refuse Fascism.

Sunday April 2nd 3:30-6:30pm: Film Screening Part 1
Watch the first half of the film of a talk by Bob Avakian “BA Speaks: REVOLUTION-NOTHING LESS! Bob Avakian Live.”

Yes, this is a film, but that is not its essence. This is a daring, substantive, scientific summoning to revolution. 6+ hours that can change how you see the world and what you do with the rest of your life. Is this hype? No.
